Firstly, the customer support is really good. The email team have so far answered all of my questions quickly and accurately. Nice one customer support, you guys don't often get praised. In future, if they're a supplier of something I'm looking for I would choose them.Once the fridge is up and running it's great. The location where the fridge will live meant that I needed to switch the door side. While it's a simple enough task with a screwdriver, and the instructions are great, it's a bit of a faff and will take longer than you expect as there's many long screws to move.The fridge doesn't come supplied with any direct way of plugging it in so you'll either need to buy a 12v cigarette barrel, the 240v mains adapter or plug it directly onto a battery. Whatever you choose, the documentation suggest consulting an electrician. I did and have wired the fridge to a cigarette barrel adapter. The red line goes to the pin with the black going to the outer spring. Again, check with an electrician if you're not sure.The manual is very thorough and does explain everything but takes a little while to read and take everything in.I've had the fridge plugged in for about 30 minutes before starting writing this and it's cooled down quickly from 22 to 4C. The documentation and description suggest it has a power draw of 60w but I'm only seeing between 30 and 40. It's supposed to drop once the set temperatures are reached. The motors and fan can be a little noisy when they start but that stops after about 30 seconds. I'm using a rechargeable battery pack with in and out displays. Once the fridge reached temperature then it essentially shuts down. I saw a 0W draw from the battery which will help extend the battery life greatly.I like the little door handle/latch mechanism. It's a little spring loaded catch that helps keep the door shut in the event of being accidentally moved.All in all, it does exactly what it says it should do, it's a compact fridge freezer that works on 12v power.It took me a long time to decide which one to buy and I'm very happy with the choice.

I bought this fridge 11 months ago. The fridge did arrive damage due to it having cheap plastic parts on it. After awhile we realised that the fridge freezers up and then defrost which then leads to it leaking all over your floor. I called the company up he said just to check the manual. I could not afford another fridge at the time so I had to deal with this one and have it on 7° which is Still causing freezing up and defrosting issues. I’ve contacted the company again because the handle has now broken off. We knew that this would probably happen due to the fact that this is made out of very cheap plastic as well and was very careful whilst using it but I was still broken nonetheless. The company is not bothered doesn’t want me to return it because they’re not giving me your address to return it to and I also said that if I do return it even though I can’t because there’s no address I have to pay postage. Avoid this company their customer service is awful.

Ordered this fridge to go in my campervan it's a good size and seems to be working really well. Looking forward to many more adventures in the van with this fridge.

Had 1 of these fridges and it packed in just over a year old so I ordered another 1 as it was a tailored hole in the van. Recieved this fridge and it would cool but the draw was extreme to the point of about 10 times of listed. I contacted shield and got strung around for days until the point I had to involve Bolo to get my refund. The fridge to buy looks like this but has an LG compressor not cheap rubbish. I would strongly advise the alpicool 65l as it is quite and efficient and about the same price as this with a superior compressor fitted.
