Not only did this Predator SSD quadruple my laptop's storage capacity, but disk transfer rates have doubled. Excellent!Oddly, while my Zenbook supports PCLe Gen 4 NVMe SSD devices, the 512GB SSD actually installed was only PCLe Gen 3.To make a clone, I used the free Ancronis True Image package available with this SSD. It's really easy to use - though you do need a compatible SSD caddy so you can copy the old disk to the new device. This took just ~15 minutes.I studied a couple of YouTube videos for the physical Installation. It's a relatively painless operation assuming you have some mini screwdrivers (Torx in my case) and a small plastic pry-tool. I would strongly recommend using an antistatic mat and wriststrap to protect everything. Also, once the case is open, ensure you disconnect the laptop battery before touching anything.Once complete, I reset the BIOS to ensure the new SSD was recognised and was set as the prime boot device. Then, everything burst into life!I note that the SSD runs at relatively low temperatures. It normally sits at about 44 degC and, even under a high workload, I have not seen it exceed 48 degC. That's very good and probably a testament to the twin fans in this laptop.So, no issues and I am a happy boy 😊Alas, my daughter now wants me to do a similar upgrade to her Lenovo laptop!If you want to upgrade the capacity and speed of your laptop, seriously consider this ACER Predator SSD (having checked the compatibility). Despite being competitively priced, its performance can make it a game changer.BTW, this SSD is actually manufactured by BIWIN who have a reputation for reliable devices with relatively lower power requirements (and reasonably low heat generation)....

Quality of build is excellent. I purchased as additional storage for my laptop (data only not the OS) and installation was simple, it even included the tiny screw (which I didn't need but it's a good inclusion).Value was brill as I got an additional £20 discount via voucher. It's very quick, being able to copy about 20gb in around 6 seconds (CPU & RAM will also have an effect on this).Fits perfectly though there doesn't appear to be a heatsink but this doesn't bother me as my laptop doesn't run hot anyway.It works as expected though time will tell it's longevity. Just initialise the disk in windows, do a quick format and bam, 3.7tb of additional storage!

Installed to an ASUS TUF B550-PLUS in the top M.2. Used Partition Wizard 10 to clone my current OS over (Couldn't be bothered to fresh install)It worked perfectly, drive is healthy and a good temp, good size with 2TB, and getting good speeds when testing on CrystalDiskMark. Can't complain.

1st class. Very fast. Very good value for money. Runs cool with it's thermal regulator and fitted heatsink. Easy to install. Make sure you order the fitting screw pack for your motherboard which includes 3 studs and 3 bolts as you will need it.

Not a single fault with this SSD, I was sceptical to see why this was priced so much less than other SSDS at this speed and capacity, but this is genuinely of good quality, it's reliable and is an M.2 SSD. It provides the speed that is promised as seen in the screenshot below. It's also easy to install, like every other SSD. Can't complain, I'm happy with this SSD.

Ya es la segunda ssd de este modelo que me compro y no me arrepiento, muy, demasiado rapido para cargar juegos, renders 3d y edición de video. Es una de las mejores que he comprado, y con su precio es muy competitivo contra otras marcas más famosas. Para ser tan rapido es increíble como nunca sufre de sobrecalentamiento, en lo personal yo la ocupo para juegos de última generación, animaciones 3d, renders y edición de video.Excelente ssd
