Bought as a pet watch camera while at work. Set up was easy. Battery lasts weeks on saver mode. Very useful where you want a camera but have no nearby plug and don't want to run long cables. This is my third Ezviz camera but first battery version. I can recommend this camera.

Recently purchased an indoor video camera CB1,Never ever ever again.It continually drops wi-fi connection, for example photo shows wi-fi connection dropped out 7 times in 4 hours even though it is mounted only a few feet away from my routerResetting it is a total impossibility.If & when one EVENTUALLY sets it up with wi-fi (took for ever ) it was time to mount it on the wall.Hmmm !!!!!!! there are 2 double sided circular sticky mounting pads provided to stick on the wall and then place the camera on this sticky mount. Sadly the camera is so heavy it just drops off, so these are useless.Also provided is a metal mount which the magnetic base of the camera sticks to ......Sadly there are no screws provided nor are any wall plugs.The pre-drilled holes in this metal mount are so very small that even the smallest of small screws will not fitflush into the counter sunk hole, hence again the camera falls off due to insufficient contact with the metal plate.So then had to get my drill out to make the counter sunk holes bigger.So yes I eventually got it mounted on the wall, but surely 2 screws ( that fit the counter sunk hole ) plus2 wall plugs would not cost the manufacturer more than a couple of coppers and save the purchasera lot of frustration.AS FOR BATTERY LIFE...HA HA HA, EVEN WITH THE WORKING MODE SET ON "SUPER POWER SAVING",THE LONGEST THE BATTERY HAS LASTED WAS 3 DAYS NOT 30 AS ADVERTISED. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So if you purchase this camera, remember you need to purchase screws and wall plugs yourself......

This is a great camera.The app is fully featured, although the UI isn't as intuitive as it perhaps could be with a few well-placed tweaks made to some of the many options. Perhaps it's just that some of the English translations can appear odd without a bit of scrutiny and thought.A mistake I made was to assume that any brand of SD card would do, up to the maximum capacity. My first choice wouldn't format properly at all. I'd advise reading the manual and docs first... :-)Make sure you get one from the list of Ezviz compatible cards, or just go for one of the Ezviz ones which is what I've done and it worked first time.

This camera is good and let’s me keep an eye on my dog when I’m not at home, however it often disconnects from the WiFi meaning I can’t see my pet when I’m trying to check in on him.

Be careful, this is the sim model, so you need a data plan separately. There is also a separate wifi model.It works great if you want a battery powered take anywhere camera. The battery lasts for a few hours at most if you want it to record non stop. Otherwise it can record only if something moves in power saving mode which lasts for a week. You can also wake the camera up to view remotely even in power saving mode (or switch the modes remotely)Night vision and picture quality are also great, better than most other cameras ive tested

I wouldn't recommend this.Main points:Video lags/ slow to load.Device gets quite hot when streaming over 4g.Battery is consumerd very fast.It is small, compact and magnetic.Cannot turn off IR/ so this cannot be used to view motion outside.This device does not fit the purpose for which I purchased it AND given how delayed the video is, cannot recommend it for any other purpose. If you are wanting a cam to spot time critical situations, you can miss an entire event in the time that this device takes to load.

Ich habe die Kamera mit Panzertape auf den Rücken einer Taube geklebt und folge nun ihren Abenteuern.Der Akku hält mit dem externen Zusatzakku nun schon 28 Tage und ist bei 67%. Ab und zu schaue ich nach, wo Taubi nun steckt. Ich habe eine Vodafone SIM Micro eingelegt, die sofort ohne Probleme erkannt wurde. Man muss nur die PIN Abfrage deaktivieren. Die Kamera ist sehr zu empfehlen.
