We haven't had this for some time and were very pleasantly surprised to find it at such a reasonable price. The tea arrived on time. We have just had some and it was as good as we remember. Wonderful quality. We are now considering taking out a subscription as it was so good.

As I understand it, toasted rice is sometimes used to make tea on its own in some East Asian countries but I had not previously comes across it combined with green tea, so I ordered this to give it a try. The flavour is quite interesting and distinct from regular green tea, although I find that if it isn't brewed quite right it can develop something akin to a fishy flavour which is a bit off-putting; making sure to get the right temperature of water and brewing for perhaps a little less time to be on the safe side definitely help in that regard. Otherwise this is a good quality product with quite large tea leaves and plentiful amounts of rice which don't seem to settle beneath or above the leaves (at least so far). Not too expensive for a fancy tea, so worth a go if you're looking for something new.

Poor flavour and fragnance, I've tried finding a cheap alternative to my usual choice, but I had to use about 3 times the usual amount of tea to gain the same intensity and the earthy, toasted ride flavour is barely distinguishable. I can only recommend for folks who like very mild-tasting green tea

Wonderful tea, lovely flavour. Do try it if you’re looking for something to treat your tastebuds. Far better quality than the teabags obviously, although they are handy too sometimes.

This is my first time trying Genmaicha Sencha so I have nothing to compare it to. All I can say is that I really like the smooth and nutty taste of this tea. I brewed it as per instructions and used the minimum steeping time. The flavour is well rounded and it’s definitely a tea I will keep coming back to.

This tea tastes and smells amazing. It os so soothing and makes the perfect tea to have with a meal. It brews quickly without going bitter. Easy to brew and a little goes a long way. I would love to try other brews from the brand.
