Easy to follow instructions, needle pricks didn’t hurt at all and drew lots of blood, however, despite the bloodbath I couldn’t for the life of me get it to go into the pipette! I ended up just putting plenty of blood directly onto the required area and it worked fine, easy to read and compare the colours, mine was a bit on the higher side but I was expecting that. When you screw the cap off the lancet a blue piece of plastic comes out which makes it look like it’s broken, it isn’t, just press the lancet against your finger and it works fine, I will buy this product again as it’s an early indicator that action might be needed

It was easy to use and saved time of a trip to my GP to see if my total cholesterol was in normal range.If you are already on a statin, this kit is not for you, as you need to monitor the bad bit if cholesterol. = ldl or non hdl. This needs to be done by a proper laboratory test.
