You're probably asking what makes this curling wand any better than any of the many others out there on the market. Well quite simply the actual wand itself is very slim at 9mm allowing you to wrap your hair round the wand that much more tightly than is possible with the average models on the market.In addition you have great temperature control and are able to set the temperature between 100 and 230 degrees which is displayed on the LCD panel on the wands handle so you can see at a glance that you have the temperature you desire. This combined with the slim wand allows you to get a very even distribution of heat that will curl your hair without burning it.Talking of burning you will find in the box among the accessories a heat resistant glove, this is welcomed as although everyone is (hopefully) careful when using these hair appliances it is all too easy to catch your free hand when trying to curl your hair round a wand, the glove gives you the ability to do so without worry. The safety design continues to the mains cord which although captive is able to rotate through 360 degrees meaning you don't end up with knots and kinks in the power lead. The wand will also operate on temperatures between 110 and 240 volts meaning its perfectly safe for travel abroad as well.Getting all this for the current price of £19.99 makes this a bargain item in my opinion.

This curling wand does take a little longer to heat up than I am used to with other wands I have used before. It does cool down relatively quickly though.In terms of its ability to curl my hair, it does so quite well.I've got long, straight hair that doesn't have much volume to it, but this curls my hair well and gives me nice tight curls. The curls tend to stay in place for several hours whilst I'm at work. It tends to have straightened back out by the time I'm home.

Great for tiny curls to match my 3b/3c hair!
The thermal brush is useless for my curly hair so I use a hair styler brush to straighten and the thermal brush to bump the ends. The rest of the wands are excellent though! I can curl my hair to add volume, especially where my natural curls are dry and refuse to curl on their own. Great value for all the wands you get.
