Out of all of the birthday gifts, this roll up drum kit has been the most popular. It is lightweight, easy to carry and can be rolled out and played with on any flat surface. You can give it a bash with the sticks provided and it produces a variety of drum sounds and styles, which can be recorded and played back. You can use with your own headphones if you want to play without inflicting your drum solos on others. It has created hours of fun and tactile entertainment for my child who is now convinced they are the next big rock

WOW !!!!What an amazing little drum kit , sounds fantastic and very easy to use with lots of settings to experiment with ,I bought this for my toddler for Christmas and obviously I had to check it works !!Well ….. roughly 45 mins later I put it back in the box 🤣 so I’m saying I would highly recommend this drum kit . Budum Chhhhhhhhhh

Turn this drum kit on with the switch on the speaker unit and it’s ready to go straightaway. It charges via USB and you can also connect your phone or tablet to it and play a tune to drum to. This worked well and the music came out of the speaker loudly but if you press record at this point it will still only records your drum or symbol beats. The pre-recorded demo songs are nothing special and more for smaller kids. I found that the best sound came from the symbols. I found cycling through styles, which changes drum and symbol sounds, frustrating as sometimes the resulting sound was really quiet, and it was really hard to hear anything. Sometimes it took me hitting the panels quite hard to get a decent result, and I also found that I needed to hit them in very specific places to get some sound, other styles worked quite well. For its current £49.99 price tag I would expect more from it - and it’s tricky to know what kid age group it is really targeting given its design and functionality- some of which are suitable for smaller kids and some for older.

The media could not be loaded. My little boy is only 16 months old but he loves this already. As per the video he mostly loves stomping over it with his feet but he does like to use the sticks provided too.As there are pedals that can be added and a headphone jack it will last him ages!It's fantastic that it's re-chargeable and the fact that it's silicone makes it easy to clean and forgiving when it comes to little spills here and there.The only fairly frustrating element is that it always turns onto the highest volume when you first switch it on, but it's easily rectified as there is a volume + and - button on the pad.Overall great quality and great item.
