It comes supplied with the batter which is great as many do not come with it.It comes with a set of 12 testing strips and lancets to prick yourself to get blood out. The lancet doesn’t cause any pain and you can choose the depth of the needle.In terms of the result they line up almost with my cgm. The speed of the results is within a few seconds.It also comes with a nice case for you to neatly store away your monitor.

It looks good but is actually a useless kit. The battery didn't stay in place so machine had to constantly reset but then wouldn't stay on. The lancet device wouldn't undo to put a lancet into it. I neglected to read reviews before purchase or I wouldn't have bought it. So disappointed I threw it in the bin.

We had significant difficulty with this machine. While setting the date and time was straightforward, getting a reading was far more challenging. After carefully reviewing the instructions, we noticed the machine is supposed to beep during setup—ours never did. It took four attempts to finally get a reading, but we remain unsure of its accuracy. As for the lancing device, we found it more trouble than it was worth and opted to use the lancets directly. Although everything is well packaged and presented, we are ultimately disappointed and uncertain about the machine's reliability.

Ok, so this machine does what it should… However, you receive ten each of the lancets and from what I can tell, you can’t buy spares. In a throwaway society, where we’re trying to reuse, this is a disappointment and makes each test £1 to use.Yes, you can buy bigger sized lancet and strip options, in 50 or 100, which do work out more cost effective, but I’m really disappointed that you can’t replace the lancets and strips. The machine says it holds up to 180 readings, but not sure if it either won’t take more after that’s full, or if it overwrites the original readings, and of course that’s only something to worry about if you could either buy additional supplies or maybe test a different make of lancet and strips to use on this…I’d say ideal if you want to track when on holiday for example, but it does seem sad that’s it suggests it’s disposable….

This is a blood glucose monitor kit. Good quality and works well but up to only 10 times, as it includes 10 strips only. Luckily the seller also sells those strip and lancert packages in 100 and 200 item packs in a separate listing, so you can extend the lifetime of this product.Note that this is a Vine review for the item sent for free to review. My reviews are not based on the price but just the material, make, general quality and the usefulness of the product. Please do your own research and comparison on the price.

This glucose blood testing kit has everything you need to carry out the test. The glucose meter can store up to 180 test results but only 10 test strips are provided, and one review has stated that new test strips can’t be purchased so if long term use is intended, I would suggest investigating that before purchase. If that is truly the case, why the capability of holding 180 readings? It is generally accepted that only the test strips provided with a test machine should be used. With the memory function It’s fairly easy to use to just monitor the readings over a period of time. All the necessary bits are included together with easy to follow instructions. A very useful monitor but best to seek professional advice if the readings drastically change. At £10 it is very good value even if it is only for the 10 readings.

I am not sure if mine was faulty but I did everything correct and it would not give me a reading.it pricked my finger fine but no matter how I smeared the sensor it wouldn't give me a readingso it went in the bin.
