    Had no trouble starting my flat battery in the cold weather and kept me going until I got my replacement battery. Very useful that you can recharge the pack via the type c charger cable. Definitely worth the purchase.

    Very high quality jump starter/power bank, not cheap but well worth the price, arrived fully charged and ready to go, comprehensive instructions but so simple to use a quick read through is all that's required, comes with extra cables for phone charging etc a recommended product

    Was having battery issues and was borrowing a large really heavy (but brilliant) booster to start the car.I should have changed the car battery sooner, but took the decision to get one of these in the meantime and what a revelation.It’s small, neat, in a storage bag and it’s easy to store in the car boot spare wheel & can be charged on the usb cable supplied in the car whilst driving.Importantly - My wife also found it simple to use to and was confident using it … she would never have used the big garage booster!!It did two starts on the one charge and made short work of an absolute flat battery. Mine is a petrol car but says can be used in a diesel up to 1.5ltr … not yet tried it on a diesel.Great piece of kit for those flat battery mornings …Highly recommended 👍

    My cad sits unused for long periods, so the battery inevitably goes flat.Most times, the booster starts at the first attempt, but when really cold it might take a few tries - and here, the booster can get a bit upset, and refusedls tobboost again for a while. That's probably not unique to this, though, and I'm sure there are good reasons for that.Decent value during Prime sales too.

    We had some problems with starting an X3 3.0 petrol engine.It had a failing battery and whilst it could be charged at home overnight to start in the morning if it had any problem whilst out and about you would be stuck, so this was purchased as an cheap insurance policy as waiting hours for a recovery service was a no go.This was a lifesaver a few times as the cars battery couldn’t turn over on its own, but fired up straight way with the starter pack.Using the pack is easy, just clipping the 2 parts together and it is ready to go, making it functional in a few seconds.It has worked well and would recommend this 1500 model.

    After doing a silly thing and using my automatic tyre inflator on car accessories rather than turning on the engine the inflator soon gave up the ghost and I realised what I had done... the battery on my Toyota Yaris Hybrid was now flat. Because my AA cover had run out calling them out would have been expensive so after doing a little bit of research the solution to my problem was this Ring Automotive ULTRABOOST 500A 12V Car Battery Jump Starter 6000mAh. This is the cheapest in the range but it came highly recommended.It came partly charged so it only took around half an hour to achieve a full charge using the supplied USB-A/USB-C cable plugged into a USB-A mains plug. The two part construction - the main battery and the separate section with the positive and negative leads push together and then you are ready to go.In my specific case the access to the positive battery terminal is underneath the fuse cover. After connecting the red lead to the relevant area (beneath a red safety cover) and then the black lead to a nearby bolt head the unit indicated green meaning it was safe to continue with the jump start routine.It immediately started to provide the necessary power and a distinct click is heard but I did not choose to use the 'boost' function. After 30 seconds I entered the car and pressed the push button ignition start and it fired up... marvellous! The unit can even provide your tablet or phone with instant power.This is a valuable unit and as hybrid vehicles tend to use smaller batteries their onboard electronics can use quite a bit of juice which can be an issue if you are not doing many miles to keep the battery fully recharged. Suffice it to say this gets a full five stars from me... it's well made and certainly a worthwhile investment. Full recommendation.

    This booster will start a vehicle if you can connect directly to both battery terminals or have a suitable ground point close to the battery. My van has stop start and the vehicle instructions don’t allow connection directly to the battery terminals. I need to connect to the +ve and a to a separate -ve, the earth point on the engine block is recommended, this is too far from the battery for the short cables supplied. After getting a spare cable to extend the -ve the booster worked fine, just a bit of a mess when the unit is so small and tidy

    This bailed us out when a work van wouldn't start on consecutive occasions. It managed to jumpstart a 1.6 diesel three times with no effort, and it barely made a dent in the charge level. I'd prefer the cables to be slightly longer and the grips to open a bit wider but it's perfectly fine. It packs up into its own case that's small enough to fit in the side pocket of the door too. Recommended.
