Quiet and smooth operation but difficult to get exact heights.

The media could not be loaded. The desk comes well packaged with everything you need to assemble it including a couple of allen key spanners, but using an Allen key screwdriver bit is much faster if you have one.The package is quite heavy so it's not easy to move around by yourself.Assembly is fairly straight forward although the instructions could be better as they are just illustrations with no explanations, also it is a good idea to have a second pair of hands to help hold bits during assembly.Once assembled and in the correct location the desk needs to be plugged into the mains, the lead on the supplied mains adaptor is not vey long so if you are not near to a socket it will need an extension lead.The desktop has a nice finish to it with smooth rounded corners and a textured surface, however is it not very deep, being only 70cm deep, the desk it replaced was 80cm which seems to be a more standard depth.There is a 5cm tall bar underneath the desk all the way down the middle, this is part of the mechanism, but limits the height of items under the desk, and longer legs may bump knees.The mechanism for changing the height is very smooth and quiet however there is a delay when pressing the up or down buttons and you can't just single click the buttons to change the hight in increments, this means getting an exact height takes a lot of trial and error, however once to you have the desk at the required height you can store this on one of the four pre-sets.Overall a very nice desk that looks classy but the height changing mechanism could be more user friendly.

Got this to help with my hip pain whilst working from home as standing up helps immensely.This desk it large and heavy! I've no idea how the delivery guy got it to the door by himself! You'll probably need a couple of people to lift and shift this and you'll definitely need at least 2 people to put it together. It's probably possible on your own but, due to the large size and weight, I had my son help me with this to ensure that nothing was damaged - including me!The desk comes completely flat packaged and comes with a set of instructions and all the bits and bobs that you need to put it together. The frame itself is metal, so it's really sturdy when you've got it erected. The desk movement up and down is very smooth and comes with some pre-sets so that you can easily alter the height. The instructions mention something about setting a timer but I couldn't work that out but just moving it up and down when I want is enough for my needs. I guess the timer is a good idea if you want to ensure that you don't forget to move it up and down so that you can stand up for health reasons. I'm 6 foot and if I raise the desk to it's full height it's almost too high to use so there's no worry about using this if you're a tall person.I found the motor part the most tricky to put together and I had to take pictures of the instruction pictures with my phone so that I could make them bigger to try and work out what was going on.The desktop itself is a one-piece wood laminate construction and feels great in use. It's big enough for me to have my laptop, mouse, keyboard and 2 monitors on it and it's great to be able to stand up during long meetings.Overall, I'm really happy with this standing desk. It's really sturdy, well made and looks really nice when fully built. The top is smooth and easily large enough for 2 monitors, laptop and peripherals. The controls for moving the desk and easy to use and it's great to be able to stand instead of sitting all day. This is, for sure, a premium desk and probably the best desk I've ever used.

Heavy and Sturdy

This desk is incredibly heavy at roughly 72lbs (32.5Kg) which made it tricky to both lug into the house and to set up. If you are in good physical health then this isn't going to be a problem, I have back and shoulder issues (hence wanting a standing desk) so it was more challenging than I was expecting. Thanks to a very helpful delivery team I did get it in the house but had to wait until I had a second pair of hands to unpack and construct the desk.Putting it together was a weird combination of straightforward and frustratingly fiddly. The instructions are not the clearest and the included tools aren't the best but they are really "single use" so that is to be expected. I was convinced something had gone wrong so literally closed my eyes when I plugged it in and tried to use it for the first time - fortunately I'd not made any glaring mistakes and it worked surprisingly smoothly.Rather than using this desk for working from home or gaming I actually got it as a crafting table. I do a lot of "table top" crafting and fine myself hunched over like a dweller of the dark depths which exacerbates my musculo-skeletal issues and reduces my crafting time. Just raised to the first pre-set height makes a world of difference to my comfort whilst crafting; I can remain seated but have a much better posture. Raised to the full height it sort of works for crafting but would definitely work well if I was working on my laptop (I'm just a smidge over 5' 11") and may even consider that the next time I work from home.Not much room under the desk for storage options but I have this set up next to my previous crafting table so storage options aren't an issue as I have a full table I can use now.No images for this one as I was focused on building it (with assistance) and forgot and I can't get a decent angle of it built.

Amazing sit/stand desk

Really great desk, good functionality with the size and the electronic sit/stand options.Takes some time to build, highly recommend scanning the QR code on the box for the video instructions. All the screws/washers etc you need come labelled and packaged separately and they’re was a spare of every screw etc.Read the instructions (if you don’t watch the video) a few times and make sure you have plenty of space and at least a second person.

The assembly was simple and I love that the holes for the screws have a metal casing so you don’t have to worry about screws shredding the hole. Because this is one piece, it’s pretty heavy, but this is a solid desk that gives the impression it’ll last a long time. One of the best benefits is the range of adjustable height because you can get it very low for ergonomical comfort if sitting in a lower chair. It also goes really high and would work for taller individuals. Setting the memory levels is easy and the adjustment is quiet enough to do while you’re on a call - no one will hear it. There may be a situation where the memory setting will throw an error, but you can simply select one of the up or down arrows for a bit to manually adjust it, and then you can select the memory button again and it’ll work. Really great desk so far and can hold a decent amount of weight. I have two monitors with arms, a laptop, and mini computer which fit on it with no issue.

overall the desk is decent. The instruction is kind of vague. I suggest the merchant label those pieces as the instruction said otherwise, it could get really confusing!

Overall, this is a pretty good sit-stand desk. Once constructed, it is easy to use, and its sleek clean lines are aesthetically pleasing. The basic functions of the control panel are easy to use, while the more advanced features (such as setting a minimum or maximum height, or recalibrating the height) are a bit more fiddly - although you wouldn't have to do that very often.Mine did not come with a double cross beam, and while the gap was small, since the desktop came in two parts, it wasn't seamless. (See more on this below in my note about Step 5)The desktop surface is prone to smudges, which may irritate some, and the gap is more visible in this colour than the darker brown wood-look that is also available.The product is well packaged, so transport damage is unlikely.The electrical plug is wide, so don't expect to plug two desks into the same wall electrical outlet.The manual is thick, but that is mostly due to it having 7 languages in it.There were some issues with the construction instructions, and here are some extra comments I believe would be helpful to know:- you will need a phillipshead screwdriver- there is one extra of every screw and plug, and while this can be useful if there is a manufacturing fault in one item, it does feel wasteful to have so many spares. It would be better to have better quality control in the first place and less wastage.- parts L-T are in with the metal plates (part K), and be mindful of the fact that the sheet of sachets is not in alphabetical order.- Some screw-head holes are not perfect, so it's a good idea to test them with the provided allen key/hex wrench before using them- Step 4: you need to do this in the opposite order. The hex bar has to be inserted into the secondary leg first, then aligned with the main leg, then you slide the sheath over the bar on the main leg, then tighten the nuts.- Step 5: make sure to ensure the the desk panels are as flush as you can get them before tightening the screw, or else you'll have a gap between your desk panels.- Step 6: make sure you align the legs correctly before fixing them to the desktop, or else the height motor will be on the wrong side of the desk from the control panel, and the cord won't reach.- More on step 6: don't fully tighten any screws until you have them all partially screwed in. You are likely to need to torque the frame slightly to get the screw holes to align, and this will be challenging once everything is tightening.
