I have grown to love Govee products, but will also comment on issues or design faults with them. These I have found no faults with though. They are not the prettiest thing to look at during the day, but that is probably more because I see them where as a guest would not. However, once the light drops and they are turned on, the ambiance they create is excellent, with the variation in colours and effects to match the event, or just plain white to give off some light. Even with this, the variation of whites again allows for more control, either a warm feel to the garden, or a clean crisp white for better visibility.Packaged well, priced well, integrated easily into the home smart system, and a fraction of the price in comparison to similar brands when comparing quality.

Use what's in the box and you'll be fine. They work really well but I was trying to extend the gap between the strings and after about 6m, the 2nd string wouldn't light any more. It had voltage but suspect the signal wire telling it what to do wasn't working as it should.

I loved the lights and the controls through the mobile app. I tested their music driven lights but did not find it impressive. Lights are bright as well and brings a charm to the place.

Loved so much I bought another pack. Lovely lights in the summer. They do look a bit odd during the day but are fabulous when lit up at night. I wasn't so keen on the app but it works well with Google home so all is good after the initial set up. I love how many different settings there is.

after years of wasted my money on solar lights i bit the bullet and bought these, they are fantastic, more expensive by a long way than solar, however in the long term after replacing about 5 sets in 3 years these will be good value for money, settings are easy to use too
1.0 out of 5 stars Do not fit standard outdoor plug socket
The media could not be loaded. As above, if you’ve bought these outdoor lights to use outdoors, beware! The plug socket will not fit in the outdoor plug sockets most people use. You can detach the plug from the lights, so considered setting up the lights, and taking the plug off and plugging back in every time I want to use them (but kind of defeats the purpose of having smart lights). BUT the plug is still too big, the top of the plug catches on the socket, so doesn’t fit properly and the lights aren’t fully connected so flick on and off. A shame as otherwise they look like they would have been good, but they’re now being returned.
