Having a workshop that can get damp i decided to go for a 3d drying unit .Having decided ill go for a single drier the unit arrived next day .well packaged and was quickly set up ,i decided to run it straight into the 3d printer direct ,what a difference it makes ,i do keep my filament sealed but its still comes out at around 55 %The unit is very easy to use and show temp and humidity ,i ran this for 55 min and it took my moisture down to below 25 which is fine ,having done several prints i kept it running and it got down to 10% moisture which is fantastic .The unit is compact ,and the fan isn't to loud but also the 3 d fan was running at 60% at the time so don't expect it to be as loud as the video because its not .All in all its easy to use ,well made ,screen is touch sensitive which ive found to be good tbh , so no complaints what so ever ,you cant go wrong buying this unit ,and it certainly makes a difference with the printing .

I ordered this filament dryer as my first ever non-homemade dryer. I wish I had saved myself the hassle of making home made dryers.The Creality Space PI Filament Dryer is the ideal companion for any printer. The setup is as simple as plug in and away you go. The screen on the front gives you a very nice high quality feel and the navigation is very intuitive. I have seen some reviews complaining about the “power on”button not responding properly, I have not had this issue at all.The dryer is not particularly loud either, when turning on and beginning the heating up cycle the fans will blow but this eventually dies down to almost silence. Any printer near by will drown out the noise of the dryer.The dryer comes with a tube that comes out of the top to allow use of the dryer while printing. My only complaint is that when setup with my Creality Ender 3 V3 SE this tube kept slipping down into the dryer itself making the tube pull tight when the printer was at its furthest away point. I solved this by putting a cable tie around the tube to stop it from slipping into the dryer. This however does not impact my opinion on the machine.The dryer is adjustable and can heat up to anywhere between 45-70 degrees C and has realtime humidity and temperature monitoring which is a huge plus. I very much enjoy the humidity monitoring so you can actively see it working.The dryer will only fit the standard 1kg spools and below, no 5kg big spools and I’m sure with an adapter you may be able to print with smaller spools.Overall I think this is a fantastic filament dryer for both beginners and advanced makers. Your prints and printer will benefit immensely from having this dryer, my overall quality has improved simply by keeping my filaments dry. I’m glad to say it was money well spent and if Creality ever decide to make a 3 or even 4 roll dryer I think that would be perfect for those more advanced makers.

This is just the best filament dryer ive ever used. Nothing even comes close and ive tried quite a few in the past. The key reason why this dryer works so well is because it has a single heating element and a fan which circulates the air all the way around the enclosure, similarly to how your convection oven works. The design is also excelent and creality have clearly put in the research hours to making this product. Ive been using every day for the past week and noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in my printing quality. I have even been able to restore 2 year old PLA filament that i had lying around.

Dissapointed that the filament was sent on a dodgy cardboard reel, which was lop-sided. This resulted in the reel not turning very well at all on my spool (like a badly buckled bicycle wheel)! Had to waste time re-spooling the whole lot onto one of my spare reels..GRRRR! the positive news, is that the filament itself is actually quite good quality and printed with a great finish.

Worth buying, I had really bad issues with humidity, poor beh adhesion and lots of stringing soon as the hot weather came. Thought I'd just stick it straight to work and use it whilst printing and printed perfect 👌
