The media could not be loaded. I love this little vacuumIt took me a week to work it all out. Instructions are poor so I looked on YouTube .The mapping is great . I set it to clean just the hall and kitchen while out and it was spotless when I came back and gone back to charging pointIt would be nice if it had a remote as well so my husband who can’t use smartphone can use it.The mop was ok. I used low and it was fine . Not a substitute for a proper mop but it does say that in the book.It knows where stairs are soo didn’t fall down.Battery life ok, suction good, picks dog hair up.Navigation is good.It goes round the edges first then an up and down sequence plus you can set it to do it twice.Once you get used to all the things it does it is easy to use but instructions are not clear. 2 year warranty. I hope it lasts. So far I love it. It’s mesmerising. I stalked it for a while.

The media could not be loaded. It is the first robot vacuum and mop in my life. I was looking for something good enough to clean my whole house after three kids and a dog, that would not cost a fortune. This one is a real hit, I think it is extraordinary quality for the price.The robot is first roughly mapping the whole house and then cleaning it thoroughly - it always cleans the edges and then everything else - which allows it to improve and refine the map. Once it is done, you can edit the map: merge two or more rooms, split some of them, exclude particular areas from vacuuming and mopping or only mopping. After that there are many options to choose from: you can clean the whole house, just a particular room, or set an area the robot needs to go to and clean it; you can set it to clean only once, or twice when more thorough cleaning is needed; you can choose between four levels of suction and four levels of watering, including a closed water tank; you can make a schedule of when and where it needs to work; you can check a cleaning record where you see when and what the robot has cleaned, which includes a map.Generally, it is a great choice of a robot vacuum if you are looking for something cheaper. However, it has both advantages and disadvantages I think you would like to know about before making a decision.Pros:• low price for very good quality product• many useful app features including those mentioned above• it vacuums everything on its way easily• it mops very well on the highest level• it does not miss any point• it copes really well with any obstacles such as stuff that were not there when mapping the house or the ones that were moved a little bit such as my coffee table• it is possible to pause cleaning when you want to refill the water tank, empty the dust bin or do anything else and the robot will continue its job afterwards• the battery life is usually enough to clean the whole house, the robot cleans our two bedroom flat at only one go while it does it twice for more thorough cleaningCons:• it may not recognise separate rooms while mapping the house - the robot took our corridor, living room, kitchen and one of two bedrooms as only one room• it may not be possible to split rooms - I could not split the above to a few separate rooms because every time I tried it failed; while the robot was mapping again, I used a wooden timber panel that was high enough to recognise it as a door threshold• the quick mapping feature dissapears once it mapped the house for the first time and there is no option to add another map, so it might not be possible to map another floor or a room the robot cannot enter itself to• when a no mopping area is set up - for example a rug that can not get wet - it just treats it as an edge and do not go there to vacuum at all, it also can not go through that area to go anywhere else• the water tank might not be large enough to cover a full house, especially when the highest level is set up, and a refill may be needed during the process which also means that scheduling a cleaning when you are out might not work as expected• there is no low water level indicator so you do not know if there is any left unless you check it yourself - the robot does not notifies you that you need to refill it• it is possible to vacuum only or vacuum and mop simultaneously, but there is no option to only mop• there is only one mopping cloth• there are no mopping cloths, filters or brushes available in the Honiture store so it is impossible to buy any spares

Longer term update. Still happy with this in general and use it regularly which is the real test.- The Lidar (Pro) means it maps better, knows where it is, can continue plan when you top up water/empty dust, do specific room cleaning and return to charger reliably. I don't know what it's like without Lidar but I assume worse since it relies on touch to orient itself.- Mechanical design and quality are good. The 2-in-1 dust/mop attachment works well and is easier to remove and clean. The main unit is more robust and solid feeling.- You will need to empty/fill the 2-in-1 attachment often though. This is the trade-off vs the much more expensive auto-cleaning/filling dock models.- It can navigate thresholds and rugs but gets stuck on tasselled rugs. Cables are a no-no.- The mapping is cool and generally effective but I the app in unintuitive and I found it hard to edit maps or understand what map it uses and why. I still haven't mapped upstairs successfully.- The app generally needs work - it feels clunky and not thought through. The instructions for linking to Google Home jusst don't work (or even make sense).- I'm using the iOS app - I noticed the Android app seemed to have worse reviews.Overall, its ability to map out and negotiate real-world terrain and the smarter app make this a useful device and it's good value at the price.

The media could not be loaded. I brought the v8 pro 6 months ago and absolutely loved it at first it did a great job. But it has got to the point where it seems very confused and will only go backwards and just bumps into its dock. Cleaned all the sensors but still nothing. Contacted Honiture multiple times through their website form over the last month and not had one reply.Now I’m stuck with a 6 month old hoover that is useless.Great product when it works but terrible after service. I would avoid

A really good, solid hoover and very well priced. The App is very user friendly, and it is very straightforward to set up. It does a good job of picking up dust, with a good suction power that means hair and dust are always collected. It is not the quietest, however not too intrusive either.The only slight points that could be improved are that the dust/waste collection part is quite small and requires regular emptying. Also, if it runs out of charge and goes back to the charging station, when it starts again it tends to start the hoovering from scratch rather than from where it finished off.Apart from these minor things, a really good however that keeps the house clean. Very happy.
