great vanish

This make varnishing so easy . I bought to paint the deck on a radio controlled boat that has mahogany ply on top and part way down the sides.. The finish is smooth and has a good shine to it so far it's been good . I get compliments when I show the boat. As for durability its yatch varnishing and has hardened perfectly..

I will give it 5stars, as I'm sure it is a very good product. I, however am unable to cover the surface evenly. I have also found out that, despite wearing a mask, it brought on a coughing fit, even when I had stopped spraying and until it dried. Therefore, unable to cover the areas missed. shame.

Excellent product. Arrived on time and very well packaged. The spray was easy to use and the coverage was as expected. Product left a nice look and protective layer to my decking after I had painted it. I would definelty buy again but I probably will not require it for a while as the product looks as if it will last for some time. I used a face mask and gloves just to protect myself. Good value for money.

I know the instructions say "Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area", but you'd think a garage with doors open would be safe enough. I sprayed a small wooden box, nothing massive, less than a minute's spraying time. The whole garage turned into the Chernobyl exclusion zone, then the smell somehow seeped through the fire door into my home and filled the whole downstairs.Now I've not used spray varnish before so I don't know if they're all this bad or it's just this one, I normally use brush on varnish which smells strong but for me personally not in an unpleasant way, like petrol or spirit. This stuff is different, more like really nasty plastic that makes you feel like you're going to do some real damage to yourself by inhaling it - I was wearing a mask, it didn't help.So maybe it's ok for outdoors, but forget about "ventilated area" if you think opening a window is going to be enough - it won't. Returned it.
