The media could not be loaded. The desk comes well packaged with everything you need to assemble it including a couple of allen key spanners, but using an Allen key screwdriver bit is much faster if you have one.The package is quite heavy so it's not easy to move around by yourself.Assembly is fairly straight forward although the instructions could be better as they are just illustrations with no explanations, also it is a good idea to have a second pair of hands to help hold bits during assembly.Once assembled and in the correct location the desk needs to be plugged into the mains, the lead on the supplied mains adaptor is not vey long so if you are not near to a socket it will need an extension lead.The desktop has a nice finish to it with smooth rounded corners and a textured surface, however is it not very deep, being only 70cm deep, the desk it replaced was 80cm which seems to be a more standard depth.There is a 5cm tall bar underneath the desk all the way down the middle, this is part of the mechanism, but limits the height of items under the desk, and longer legs may bump knees.The mechanism for changing the height is very smooth and quiet however there is a delay when pressing the up or down buttons and you can't just single click the buttons to change the hight in increments, this means getting an exact height takes a lot of trial and error, however once to you have the desk at the required height you can store this on one of the four pre-sets.Overall a very nice desk that looks classy but the height changing mechanism could be more user friendly.

The media could not be loaded. This is a heavy weight desk, and I mean heavy. I'm not sure of the exact weight but it's almost 30kg.So once put together and in position it's not that easy to move.But it does move, when it's all put together the one button electric height adjustment is smooth and almost silent.But first the putting together... The instructions are good, sometimes the translation is not always 100% but here they are fairly easy to understand.All the components, screws, brackets, tools etc are packed individually and marked in order of use.When fitting the desk top it is best to turn everything upside down to get better leverage and make the final adjustments easier. I would suggest putting it on a towel (or some sort of cloth) to protect the desktop surface from accidental scratches.When it's all done you may need to ask a neighbour, relative, friend to give you a hand to get it the right way up.Once assembled the table has a four position memory and the motor is almost silent and runs smoothly between memory points.I like the way is starts moving, then quickly travels to the required memory position.It could do with clips or something to hold leads that will inevitably appear once the desk is covered with office equipment, ie: computer, printer, phone charger cable etc. Or somewhere to put extra sockets as well.But perhaps that would inhibit its minimalist visual appearance.OK, so this is a pricey standing desk but it's a quality standing desk.Well worth it and should last for many years to come.And that's a recommendation.

Amazing sit/stand desk

Really great desk, good functionality with the size and the electronic sit/stand options.Takes some time to build, highly recommend scanning the QR code on the box for the video instructions. All the screws/washers etc you need come labelled and packaged separately and they’re was a spare of every screw etc.Read the instructions (if you don’t watch the video) a few times and make sure you have plenty of space and at least a second person.

The assembly was simple and I love that the holes for the screws have a metal casing so you don’t have to worry about screws shredding the hole. Because this is one piece, it’s pretty heavy, but this is a solid desk that gives the impression it’ll last a long time. One of the best benefits is the range of adjustable height because you can get it very low for ergonomical comfort if sitting in a lower chair. It also goes really high and would work for taller individuals. Setting the memory levels is easy and the adjustment is quiet enough to do while you’re on a call - no one will hear it. There may be a situation where the memory setting will throw an error, but you can simply select one of the up or down arrows for a bit to manually adjust it, and then you can select the memory button again and it’ll work. Really great desk so far and can hold a decent amount of weight. I have two monitors with arms, a laptop, and mini computer which fit on it with no issue.

A perfect adjustable desk for a smaller work environment

I've had this now for 6 months or so setup so this will give you an idea of how this held up over time.Let me start by saying I found this an absolute pain in the butt to set up for me. It wasn't an awkward product by any means, but I have been waiting for surgery on one of my shoulders for a while so that lets you know why it was difficult. If you are in any way impaired like that, I really don't recommend putting yourself through this. If you really want it though, get someone to help you. This isn't a judgement on the product, just advising if you're impaired it will be tricky.OK that out of the way, using this has been excellent. I use it solely as a work environment (as opposed to my main desk for personal use - bit of advice: separate your work and personal environments if you work from home) so largely using the laptop. The motor setup is smooth and does the job perfectly. I tend to not use it as a standing desk but do adjust it a lot based on what I'm doing. Lower for computer work and higher if I'm working at something directly on my desk (no I know I'm weird) but it lets you have that flexibility. The really good thing is because it's got those memory buttons I have them set up for my different working heights. I appreciate that instead of fiddling with up and down buttons imprecisely each time (like I have to do at work).One comment on its size. I couldn't use this for my personal desk environment because I'm a clutter king and have far too much stuff at hand. However, having had this now for this time I am contemplating replacing my personal desk with a larger version of this, L-shaped if possible because I really enjoy that flexibility when working and kinda miss it with my 'normal' desk.As to how it's held up to 6 months of abuse? Absolutely fine. If the size of this fits your needs, go for it.
