I loved the size and reviews online were great. It set up in HomeKit with no problems but would not work as a motion sensor so had to be returned. Shame as a lovely size.

I was able to add this to Homekit and Home Assistant with ease!Positives- Small footprint compared to Eve Motion- Cheaper than Eve Motion- Matter over threadNegatives- Sticky pads needed if you want to mount it somewhere- Unable to change sensor settings without yet unreleased aqara hub (9/4/2024)- Light sensor only updates when motion is triggeredHopefully in the future Aqara hub won't be needed to change settings. Eve Motion lets you change settings with Eve app. Maybe in the future Home Asisstant Matter support it will let you change settings.

I’m into my smart home and recently started doing more with automation. This motion sensor is great and it detects motion and lux light levels that allowed me to create an automation to turn on my lights if it detects motion and the light lux level is at a certain measure. Easy to use and set up with the Aqara ecosystem and the price is good for what it does. Very happy with This product

Why did you choose this product over others?:Garbage, I am no Luddite this is ridiculous to connect to any app and when it does it disconnects. Going back.
Love it but make sure you have the aqara system to make this work
I would reccomend these but also depends on what you’re using these for, I easily connected them to my aqara hub and haven’t had any issues with them disconnecting from my hub, and the battery life seems to be very long because they’ve been running for months without any issues. I also love the stick on feature it’s just like 3m tape you stick it to the wall easily and it works as intended. I designed it to turn on certain lights when motion is detected in a room, or to record a video when motion is detected in a certain area, making it great for security and they’re very small and look cool on the wall but also barely noticeable, if you have the hub and have other aqara accessories this pairs very well with them and the automations you can create are pretty cool, but if you don’t have the aqara brand products or hub I don’t know how well it works or if it would work at all.
