These are a favourite of mine. The salty taste comes from them being sprinkled with ammonium chloride, not sodium chloride, so they aren’t the risk to health you might think.These are definitely not suitable for small children, despite the monkey-themed packaging, and cute gorilla shape. The little hard pieces of liquorice present a choke hazard.These are not soft, and as such, represent good value, they last for ages when sucked.Great for anyone over the age of eight who appreciates a bit of novelty.

They are dusted with a nice salty coating, but that dissolves in seconds.Then what you're left with is a little nugget of hard black toffeeIt doesnt have any licorice flavour whatsoever, its just tasteless and chewy.I've had about 4 sweets from the first bag, and then tossed all 3 bags in the bin.

These are absolutely awful and don’t even taste of liquorice and the salt on them is way too much and I mean there is loads of it but once you get rid of the salt there is no taste of liquorices at all!! Absolute waste of money all three packets went in the bin!!!
