Got it for level. But it's a great tool as a stud finder and level. Really worth the money. Laser is bright for outdoor use. Level is straight. This one is small enough to be in the tool box. Very handy.

While the design is compact and user-friendly, I was quite disappointed with the brightness of the laser.In well-lit rooms, the laser line is hard to see, making it difficult to get precise measurements and alignments. I expected a brighter projection for the price, especially for tasks like leveling and hanging where visibility is key.On the positive side, it’s easy to set up and the horizontal and vertical features work well once you can see the laser clearly. However, I found myself struggling to use it effectively in brighter environments, which defeats its purpose for home projects.
