OK, I admit to being way more excited than I should have been seeing that these were back in stock!It solves a problem for me as I like to sometimes shoot with more than one camera and having to secure my 360 cam by covering the lenses and putting it back in my side pocket is a bit of a faff.Now I no longer have to do that - "kerchang", and it is secure on my rucksack strap!!As an engineer I can appreciate design of this mount and think it is extremely good value for money.

The item has a defect. Although the design looks fine, the engineering aspect is subpar. Specifically, the clamp that connects the holster to your rucksack has an issue. The threaded part is too small (6mm) for the nut (which has an 8mm thread). To compensate, they used a heli-coil. A heli-coil is a threaded insert used to repair and reinforce damaged or worn-out threads in materials like metals, plastics, and composites. Picture it as a tiny spring-like coil made of spring-steel material. How they expected this to stay in the nut I’m not sure perhaps they glued it. Or did they just cross their fingers? Needless to say, this experience hasn’t exactly boosted my confidence in the product. My unit actually arrived in this condition when it was new, but I’ve seen another review where theirs failed after a few weeks.

It kept my camera secure, accessible, and perfectly positioned to capture footage I never would’ve gotten otherwise — all while keeping my hands free. The camera pops on and off the mount quickly, which made it easy to grab for handheld shots.A couple of minor suggestions: it currently locks in at 90-degree angles, and I’d love to see 45-degree options added for more flexibility. Also, if the arm extended just a bit more off the shoulder, it would give even better capture angles — though that’s something you can rig with an additional mount.All that said, this is easily one of the best gear purchases I’ve ever made. If you’re doing a serious hike or climb and want your action cam ready to go at any moment, this is the way to do it.

Bien pratique sur un sac à dos. Pose facile et usage pratique. Indispensable en rando. Juste une précision, le support ne sert que si la perche est pliée. Il ne sert pas de support à une perche dépliée. Il va donc me falloir acheter un autre support pour perche dépliée fixée sur le sac à dos. En rando c'est pratique surtout si on utilise des bâtons de marche. A voir s'il existe un dispositif pour fixer la perche de l'INSTA sur un bâton de marche, mais cela risque d'être gênant.

amazing mechanism just clicking the selfie stick into position. Very robust construction that won't release unless you intentionally twist the selfie stick.A bit heavy and bulky.The X3 sits roughly at neck level when strapped onto a trekking backpack shoulder strap. Not useful for filming a selfie view but forward views are great.
