I lov EasySMX and this was my third purchase in about 8 years I've been buying their controllers. I didn't purchase this as a replacement, but I just wanted a different style and so I packed my previous controller and got a new one, just because I felt like it, and it was so worth it!! The controller has a really good grip (definitively an improvement) and is very durable - accidently dropped it twice - and not a single dent or scratch on it. Also the buttons are so ergonomic and the feel is just like a XBOX controller - if you're an XBOX fan like me - and so it felt so familiar. No lag in response when gaming and I would definitively buy from them again! Also battery life (at full charge) is around 8-10 hours, so no complaints there either.

I finally got myself a smaller PC to play games on the living room TV, as I have a full gaming PC I wanted to play games on the TV that were controller friendly but I did not have a semi decent controller. I've had Xbox controllers before and whilst the older generation was amazing I've found myself not liking the newer Xbox controllers. I picked this up as my 3rd attempt at a Xbox style controller and I don't think I will be buying another any time soon.Connection is very easy thanks to the USB dongle, plugged in to Windows 11 and it's recognised immediately with no additional drivers needed. Every game I've played has worked flawlessly (Games that were Xbox compatible), and whilst the illuminated buttons are a nice touch I am glad that they can be turned off if wanted. On average I get around 3 -4 hours of gaming before the battery is running low which is better than most other controllers. The buttons are responsive, no drift on the thumb sticks, and the textured design on the back makes it very comfortable to hold for several hours.

TL;DR - Avoid this, buy the SMX-05 insteadSo the biggest complaint is the RIDICULOUSLY weak 2.4ghz wifi connection, as it can be disrupted 100% by your leg. Less than 8ft/2.5m from the dongle. No, really. Also it suffers from input lag even with direct line of site of the USB dongle.Also, I've noticed whilst playing Elden Ring there was SLIGHT drift on the right stick, my game was slowly rotating. It won't get you killed, but it males me wonder if the Hall Effect claims are true.The only reason I don't return it is because, at time of writing, the EasySMX-05, which is their best controller IMHO, is out of stock, and I need a controller. You'd be better off with something like the 05, a competing brand like PowerA, which are phenomenal from my experience.

The media could not be loaded. I collect controllers, so I've seen my fair share, and I've had a couple of EasySMX controllers, and I see them favourably. This controller is no different. I was drawn to this controller specifically because of the 2.4Ghz dongle, as I wanted it for streaming over my Chromebook. Using wireless reduces input latency considerably over Bluetooth, but this controller also allows for Bluetooth so there is a good amount of connectivity.I think it looks fantastic, I really like the design and the RGB colours really add some flair, but the drawback is that it drains the battery life faster. With that said, I think the battery life is more than acceptable with it on, but the option is there if you don't want it.There's a lot of functionality with the controller as well, offering rear buttons for those who want it.Using it on a rather lacking in power Chromebook to stream over Game Pass or Luna, I've found very little lag. It's impressive, but of course, your internet connection plays a part here too. It's good to remove as many obstacles as possible when streaming.The face buttons feel good, they are raised fairly high so there's a little longer travel time than some controllers, but there's no resistance to them either. They feel very clicky.The D-pad is okay; this is usually where a controller fails, but this has one of those 8 Axis circles rather than a cross, so it gets points in this department, but the quality of the D-pad isn't the best either. It's responsive and I've had no issue with accuracy, so overall it's good, not great.The bumper buttons are fine. There's low travel time, but weirdly, these feel slightly more mushy than I'd like, when usually these are the most clicky.The Analogue triggers are my least favourite. They're quick to pull, so decent enough for FPS's FPS-type genres, but there's very little resistance to them, so in my opinion, they're not as favourable for driving titles.The Thumb Sticks are great. I'm really happy with these.That leaves 5 front buttons in the middle, including a home button. These are decent all around.The controller is comfortable to hold and has a medium weight to it. That makes me think that it's not the cheapest materials used, nor are they the best, but overall, I think it's good.The presentation is also very good. Very suitable for gifting. The Dongle is in the box, but it might not be so obvious at a quick glance.That leaves the price. At £33.99, I think it offers very good value for money. It's currently on offer for £22.59, which I think is a fantastic price and well worth it. I'm very happy with this controller, and it does exactly what I want.

For PC Gaming ReviewPros:- I like the build quality of the controller, feels very close to an Xbox One controller- Wired USB-C works well- LED lighting look cool, adjust easily and it has a Halo/Masterchief aesthetic- Mapping rear buttons are so easy can be done on the flyCons:- I primarily used it as a wired controller but sometimes idk what happened but it would pull the right stick to the left for a moment and I had no idea why. This happened a few times- Hall effects were really cool, no stick drift recognised- Biggest issue is to even find the software to make proper use of the controller. You follow the instructions to their page and it leads you to a google download file which feels super shady and google even warns you to not download. Couldn't get it working so I couldn't make any fine tunes via the app it supports.Final: If your someone who needs a cheap alternative to an Xbox controller with two back buttons, id say this is great option if you want to save a few £'s

Awesome for pc, tricky for multi platform.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really good controller from a playability standpoint but the set up is a little tricky. As with any multi platform controller keep a copy of the instructions handy, now if you do loose the instructions i am posting photos with this review. You’re welcome.Moving on, I love multi platform controllers as we have both a Nintendo switch and ROG ally hooked up to our tv and it’s nice to have controllers that work for both. This controller works awesome the ally, it cooperates really well with windows 11, and pairs easily both with Bluetooth and the usb fob. It’s a little bit finnicky cycling between functions going from fob to Bluetooth to switch, but it’s not bad once you’re used to it, but I prefer controllers that have a physical slide toggle to select function.On the switch, it pairs easily enough but it doesn’t automatically switch between AB and BA. To change you need to hold -+ and b all at once. The frustrating part is that it won’t remember when it’s in switch mode, so next time you turn the controller it reverts back to AB. The frustration multiplies when changing controller order as every time you disconnect and connect again it reverts back to AB!If your looking soft a controller that switches between systems easier there are better options, the best one out there is actualy the model just below this one by the same manufacturer (easysmx x05)Everything else about the controller is perfect, hall sensors on sticks and triggers are smooth as butter. The crack paddles are easy to program and very handy, also the turbo function is really easy to engage and disengage. I’d like to mention that the “m” paddles and turbo work awesome in tandem as if you program a button to a paddle (say, B) and then engage turbo for that same button it will not turbo the paddle. So for Metroid dread I leave turbo on for B and also set it to M1, now I can use B for spam fire and M1 for charge shot.Overall this is an amazing controller for the price, especially for pc gaming, but if you’re looking for something that will flip between systems easily maybe consider a different option.

Easysmx X15, parece de buena calidad

Me llegó un día antes, caja sencilla pero el control parece de buena calidad, este color me costó 30€ quería experimentar efecto Hall, por ahora se siente bien aunque debo adaptarme, espero que no falle, mi recomendación es no gastar más de 30€ en un producto chino ya que no se justificaTengo problemas para jugar usando el Bluetooth del mando sin usar el receptor, presenta latencia injugable o error en movimientos con dos juegos diferentes, la web del fabricante tiene bloqueado los mensajes cero soporte

Ich habe dieses Produkt im Rahmen des Bolo Vine-Programms kostenlos zum Testen erhalten. Selbstverständlich handelt es sich bei meinem nachfolgenden Text dennoch um eine neutrale und ehrliche Bewertung.Zum Zeitpunkt dieser Rezension ist der EasySMX X15 Controller nicht erhältlich. Zum Zeitpunkt der Bestellung kostete er 27,99 Euro.Der Controller kommt in einer ordentlichen Verpackung daher und ist von außen durch ein transparentes Fenster in der Verpackung zu sehen. Der Controller selbst ist tatsächlich genau so wie in den Bolo-Produktfotos gestaltet. Die visuelle Aufmachung erinnert stark an Zelda und Triforce, was vermutlich der Grund dafür ist, wieso der derzeit leider nicht mehr erhältlich ist.Der Controller fasst sich gut an und liegt super in der Hand. Er besitzt das typische XBox One-Design und Analogstick/Button-Layout. Es gibt unzählige Beleuchtungs- Turbo- und Vibrationsfunktionen und zusätzlich noch zwei frei programmierbare Makro-Tasten auf der Rückseite. Obendrein lässt sich der Controller auf unterschiedlichste Arten mit dem PC verbinden:1. per mitgeliefertem Funk-Dongle2. per Bluetooth (falls das Mainboard ein WiFi/BT-Modul besitzt oder man schon einen Dongle hat)3. per KabelDie dritte Variante unterscheidet sich dann noch in XInput, DInput und Switch-Modus, zwischen denen man wie in der Anleitung beschrieben per Tastenkombination hin und herspringen kann.Die Tasten selbst haben alle einen sehr guten Druckpunkt und die Analogsticks funktionieren hervorragend und fein dosierbar. Die Vibrationsfunktion ist eher verhalten, ich persönlich brauche sie aber sowieso nicht.Es fällt mir schwer, dem Controller irgend etwas negatives abzugewinnen. Einzig der mitgelieferte Funkempfänger nervt etwas mit ständigem Geblinke der grünen Status-LED, sollte der Controller nicht verbunden sein (nach ca. 1-2 Minuten Nichtstun schaltet der Controller automatisch ab). Ist der Controller verbunden, leuchtet die LED des Funkempfängers durchgängig grün. Entweder also, man klebt diese ab oder man verfrachtet den Funkempfänger auf die Rückseite des PCs, wo sie nicht stört.Da der Controller selbst aber auch auf verschiedene Arten ohne diesen Dongle verwendbar ist und er auch an Switch und Android/iOS-Geräten ohne diesen Dongle nutzbar ist, reicht es keinesfalls für einen Punkteabzug.EasySMX stellt wirklich hervorragende Controller her und dieser hier schlägt in genau dieselbe Kerbe. Von daher gibt es von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung und volle Punktzahl.

Hall-Effect-Präzision zum Hammerpreis – ein Controller, der (weit) mehr bietet, als er kostet

Der Gamepad hat mich rundum positiv überrascht – vor allem, wenn man den sensationell niedrigen Preis für einen Controller mit Hall-Effect-Sticks bedenkt.Lieferumfang & erster EindruckSchlichte Verpackung, aber alles Wesentliche ist dabei: der Controller selbst, ein USB-C-Ladekabel (ausschließlich zum Laden!), ein 2,4-GHz-Dongle für den PC sowie eine Kurzanleitung.Auspacken, Dongle einstecken, einschalten – nach wenigen Sekunden war die Verbindung hergestellt. Keine Software, kein Gefummel.VerarbeitungsqualitätHier spielt der Controller in einer ganz anderen Liga, als es der Preis vermuten lässt. Die Spaltmaße sind sauber, nichts knarzt oder wackelt.Die Oberflächen wirken wertig und bieten guten Grip; auch längere Sessions bleiben dadurch komfortabel.Hall-Effect-SticksDas Herzstück des Pads: präzise, absolut driftfrei und geschmeidig.Zum Vergleich: Meine bisherige Referenz war ein Thrustmaster-Pad, bei dem allein ein Paar Hall-Effect-Sticks rund 60 € kostet – und selbst die funktionieren nicht immer zuverlässig. Der neue Controller schlägt ihn in puncto Präzision und Konsistenz deutlich.Praxis & HandlingTrigger und Buttons reagieren direkt, das Steuerkreuz fühlt sich straff an.Dank des moderaten Gewichts liegt der Controller natürlich in der Hand; auch nach mehreren Stunden gibt es kein Ermüden.FazitFür diesen Preis hätte ich nie erwartet, einen so hochwertigen Controller mit echten Hall-Effect-Sticks zu bekommen. Wer einen kabellosen Gamepad für den PC sucht und Wert auf Präzision sowie solide Verarbeitung legt, macht hier ein echtes Schnäppchen.
