Since it weighs over 250g, you’ll need a Flyer ID and Operator ID from the CAA, limiting you to countryside flights away from populated areas. What a brilliant little drone.Great (though minimal) safety features for the novice but very capeable of being 'hardcore'.60 mph is enough for me, flight time of around 15 minutes depending on throttle use.Camera is good enough for great footage, the video feed into the goggles is like Witchcraft ;-)If ya love the thought of being able to chase the birds, be a sport and don't scare them to much. Brilliant!

The media could not be loaded. Well, I'm really impressed.I've had various DJI drones and recently got into fpv via a DJI Neo. I already had the goggles N3 and motion controller, so connecting them to the Avata 2 was a piece of cake.Whilst the Neo is capable during a calm day, it struggles to handle windier conditions, as I found out a few weeks ago. Since then, I was determined to get the Avata 2 and I'm so pleased I did.This thing is fast and responsive. The camera is also great at 4k, with lower resolutions having frame rates up to 120fps.There's 46gb of memory built in, so you can use that or pop a memory card inside. The 46GB is more than enough to start with.Batteries charge quickly too, so you can keep flying for longer.This works perfectly with the Goggles N3, but is also compatible with the Goggles 3 and Goggles 2.It's also worth paying the extra £49 for DJI care, which covers 2 crashes, fly aways, etc.Overall, an impressive drone to add to my collection and to do some serious fpv flying.Definitely well recommended.

I bought so my teenage son could join me when I go flying. This is a great into into FPV. The motion controller allows someone with no skill to fly instantly. It's almost magic just how simple this is to fly. You will still need to learn to fly manual mode to go beyond the limitations of assisted flight at some point but you can take this out day one and have great fun. The package has everything you will need to start out although you will want a proper controller to learn to fly properly. The downside with the quad is the weight. It is over 250 Grams and limits where you can legally fly.The googles 3 are a great improvement over the older googles 2 with a better fit and improved clarity around the edges. The big down let down at the moment is they are not compatible the DJI's existing FPV systems. This will most likely change down the line but currently, If you are looking at this as a entry into the wider FPV sport the these goggles are limited to the Avata 2 (and some DJI camera drones) The DJI Vista and O3 video transmitters will not work with the goggles 3This is also nowhere near as strong as the original Avata and are not user serviceable so make sure to get DJI care. You will crash flying FPV, or your not doing it properly. Just go to DJI website, put in your serial before you bind and fly the first time and for £89 you are covered for 2 years against everything, it's a great service.

Won't regret if you want to have fun and specially if it is your first drone

The best candidates were Mini 4 Pro/Air 3 & Avata 2. They all have the same O4 signal system. Mini and Air drones has advantages in their camera, 360 obstacle avoidance feature (useful in manual use and vital when autonomous tracking) . All have same camera features but Mini 4 Pro has 4K vertical shot and Air 3 has a second 3X zoom lens. Air has bigger body close to Mavic series and around 750 grams where Mini is 259 and Avata is 370 grams. Heavy drones are much more stable in windy air. Avata has VR style googles which is excellent part of the fun. You feel you are flying. With this device you can control the camera view with head movements as well.

Il DJI Avata 2 è l'ultima incarnazione della serie di droni FPV di DJI, e posso dire senza esitazioni che ha rivoluzionato l'intero mondo del volo immersivo. Non è solo un drone, è un’esperienza! Dai suoi miglioramenti tecnici alle funzionalità avanzate, questo drone FPV è perfetto per chiunque desideri vivere il volo in prima persona, dal principiante al pilota esperto.🌟 Punti di forza:1. Esperienza FPV incredibileCon il DJI Avata 2, volare in FPV è diventato molto più accessibile. Grazie ai nuovi occhiali FPV Goggles 2, l’esperienza visiva è straordinaria. La risoluzione migliorata e la latenza ridotta ti fanno sentire come se fossi tu stesso a volare nel cielo. La qualità dell’immagine è cristallina e il feedback è immediato.
