Murine Refresh & Soothe Eye Mist hydrates, soothes and refreshes dry, tired, itchy or strained eyes. The formulation contains Aloe Vera known for its refreshing and soothing properties. This gentle and drop-free mist spray is suitable for use with all types of contact lenses without having to remove them. Murine Refresh & Soothe Eye Mist helps restore the eyes tear film to keep eyes refreshed, protected and hydrated. Ingredients Hyaluronic acid LMW 0.20%, Aloe vera gel 0.1%, PHMB, Disodium edetate, isotonic solution buffered to pH 7.2. DOES NOT CONTAIN: Banzalkonium chloride, Chlorhexidine, Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Thimerosal and components from animal origin. Directions: Read leaflet before using. Shake before use, hold the bottle firmly, place thumb on the dispenser taking care not to cover the nozzle with your finger. Hold the nozzle about 10cm from the side of your eye, if using on an open eye, do not spray directly into the eye but keep looking forward and spray from the side of your eyes; apply pressure to the dispenser to produce an effective mist; spray twice for each application. Repeat one or more times a day as needed. The product can be used with the eye open or closed. Discard 90 days after first opening. Safety Warning Store the bottle between 5 and 35 degrees Celsius. My mum has very sensitive skin and this is the only eye spray she will use. She has a history of problems with dry eyes and this spray really helps her. Would definitely recommend and is a good price for how long it lasts, each bottle lasts about 2 months

I really like this eye mist as I have used it before. I can't use the Optrex version as it seems to make my eyes feel worse, but never had a problem with the Murine version. I dropped one star as the bottle I received only had a month left on the best before date, so I was a little disappointed about that as the eye mist, once opened, lasts much longer than eye drops, but in my case I didn't have that long left before it was out of date anyway.

Stings a little around the eyes for a few moments after spraying
Murine was recommended to me by an ophthalmologist for my dryer-than-usual eyes (for a woman), so when I saw this in mist form I couldn't resist. I have familial essential tremor so using drops is difficult for me. However, I have to brace myself when I use this mist -- it kinda makes the skin around my eyes sting for a few moments. Not badly enough to stop using it, however. Would happily purchase again.
Will reorder again soon

product expired 3 months before I received it
I received the Eye Mist on January 13, 2025, one day after I ordered it. The only problem is the expiration shown on the box for the eye mist is Oct 2024 and instructions say not to use after expiration date.
