Unfortunately Fiskars has shortened the blade in this version. My previous ruined ones (used by my ex in the garden) had much longer blades and were much easier to use for patterns. These also had a sharp point on one of the tips that I had to grind down with a Dremel. Still Fiskars are the absolute best sewing scissors. Please consider lengthening the blade again by an inch.Love the spring opening. Really helps with the arthritis in my hands. They are also incredibly light.

The flat under side blade, and sping open handles make it so easy to cut your fabric without lifting and disturbing it.The spring loaded handles are weighted just right - they open into your hand but don't need any more effort to close than regular scissors would. So sharp they are like the proverbial hot knife through butter.Only minor issue is that with small hands (my feet are size 3) its not easy to let the baldes fully open, so I'm not quite using the whole length of the blade. Photo showing stretch required.Nevertheless these are excellent value, bought for making blinds and cushion covers at home.

These are the best fabric scissors that I have ever used. They are a blessing if you have arthritic problems but are ideal for use by anyone.

I am bad at remembering to review things. However I had to review these scissors. They are the best scissors ever.I have arthritis in my hands, especially my thumbs. I always buy Fiskars scissors and not long bought a new shears from them, as sharp etc as it is I still struggle.These with the spring, although they kind of look odd, they cut fantastically with no effort. I also seem to be able to cut straighter with them. Highly Recommend them!!

Grasse à celui-là je peux me débrouiller seul , je l’adore. Merci pour avoir pensé à faire un ciseau comme ça, même si à la base je sais pas si il a été prévu pour des personnes en difficulté moteur.

Aktuell die beste Schneiderschere die ich je hatte!Vorteil sie öffnet selbst und benötigt so einen geringeren Kraftaufwand.Daraus ergibt sich jedoch auch ein kleiner Nachteil, der mich nicht sonderlich stört, aber immer wieder ins Auge fällt-die Schere liegt immer geöffnet da - ausser sie wird arretiert.
