One Chem Wash-In Waterproofer adds and restores water repellency and maintains breathability. Instructions for use For best results remove all non-washable parts and always clean item(s) first in a separate wash cycle. No need to dry item(s) before waterproofing. Remove all detergent build up from the detergent dispenser. Place a maximum of 2 clean garments in washing machine. Use 100ml per garment. Run 30°C synthetic cycle and slow spin. Air dry after.

Bought this to renew the water repellency of my Berghaus Hydroshied jacket. I had hoped this product would match the performance of Nikwax, which I have used for years on many jackets with great success.However after using as instructed I was disappointed to find that my jacket no longer repelled the rain as it once did. Within 10mins of being exposed to heavy rain my jacket was wet through. There was no water beading on the outer surface of the jacket, which incidentally this product is designed to do. I have uploaded a photo of the arm of my jacket, which clealy shows no water beading after treatment. Very disappointed, a complete waste of hard earned cash!Not worth any star rating. I had to give 1 star to submit review.Would definitely not recommend this product for its intended use!
