Powerful and fun.

Neighbors saw us using our Geneinno S2 and everyone wanted to try it out. What surprised me the most was the power generated in the high gear. I am 225 pounds and I had a friend on an intertube holding on to one of my flippers and i was able to move us around with ease; he weighs 300+ pounds and was a former professional athlete. An eight year old family friend figured it out in about 2 minutes and loved riding it and didn't want to give it up. My wife who doesn't usually like being in the lake, went for a long ride down the shoreline of our freshwater lake in Minnesota.It charges easy and was fun to snorkel around the lake looking at fish. You have complete control of movement. Works relly well with snorkel, fins and mask. Go pro set-up looks easy to attach, but we don't have one. The low gear is best to start with, but I use high gear most of the time. I haven't timed the battery, but I would guess it lasts about 45-50 minutes depending on what gear was being used and the weight of the operator. I will buy a second one.

A pretty nice package, but feels overpriced at $399 for its overall performance.

I got this Geneinno Electric Water Scooter after my 4-Year old Yamaha SeaDoo Scooter (4 years with me, but i bought it second hand) refused to hold charge and work for longer than 15-20 mins sessions and started to condensate water inside, it was time for it to go and for something more modern to take its place.This was a good deal based on the technology advertised and reasonably good reviews i pulled the trigger on it and i've had it for a couple of weeks and used it in two occasions, one in a big pool and one at a Lake last weekend in Austin, TX.The Lake experience was more valuable than the pool one when it comes to what this scooter can do in larger bodies of water and it's what i used my old SeeDoo scooter for.The build quality seems fine, nothing outstanding but less rugged than the SeaDoo scooter, it looks well built, however i don't know if it feels that the "wings" would take a direct drop very well.The top speed was, slightly disappointing. I mean it's a small and light device so it was expected, but going a couple of feet deep, added to the buoyancy of the scooter, you'd find that you aren't moving much and have to kick your fins/flippers to get it going, which kind of defeats the purpose of a scooter which is saving as much oxygen from body exertion.I liked the magnetic charging option which was great compared to having to pull the battery pack and putting it in a proprietary charger for the SeaDoo, but also uses a charging block, in the days of USB-C PD i would have very much preferred that, and that leads me to Battery Life:Advertised Battery Life is 60 Mins, i'd say that with intermittent use i got something closer to 40 mins, and that was with mixing low and high speeds, so it's not like i was in full throttle.App Integration is decent, but for some things like a Water Scooter i don't really know how much you'll be reaching for your phone to change a setting.The GoPro mount addition is a super nice feature.Having said that, both my experiences have proven something, this will not power through even slow ocean currents, sure it'll move you, but it'll be slower than the pool/lake experiences.It looks great, but honestly at $400+Tax it felt underpowered, it's good for use at a lake or at the pool or for light use, i wouldn't recommend this to go scuba diving at open sea, it's not bad, but probably at $249 this would have felt more appropriately priced for what it is, and don't get me wrong, i know it is costly to Research, Design and Produce something like this, but it just feels too much money for what it is.

When there was a charging issue with our unit the company immediately responded and then sent a brandnew scooter, the updated model with 143 lager capacity battery, as a replacement for free, We have since received the new unit and are grateful for all the helpful support of this seller.
