It was practically unusable. Thankfully, after running several cleaning cycles with these descaling tablets, the machine is back to working like new!I’m now planning to use the cleaning tablets more regularly to prevent this from happening again. Additionally, as a precaution, I’ll start using bottled water since the tap water in the UK is quite hard and full of limescale.This product saved my coffee machine, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone dealing with similar issues. Definitely a must-have for keeping your machine in top condition!

Poorly designed packaging causes extra tablets to become exposed to the atmosphere, prematurely breaking them down.Popping one tablet has quite a high chance of tearing part of the cover of the next one as they are so close together, you may have to cut them out closely with a knife or something similar. YMMV!Anyway, apart from that they seem to work fine at a competitive price!

What more can I say? These seem to do the job of cleaning the machine well. I have the Sage (Breville in the US) Barista Express and they dissolved after one cleaning cycle (I have had to run it twice with some other tablets). Perfect!
