It won't be to everyone's taste and it really does project the scent when using or sitting idle. I actually like it and it feels like a really clean scent.It is just coal tar fragrance now as coal tar was removed from all off the shelf soaps a while back.As for the soap, great stuff at this price. I swim and sauna most says and use this afterwards and it lathers up really well, does not go into a mush in a soap bag , and I feel very clean for the rest of the day. My skin also feels really nice afterwards.

Is it good soap that cuts through oils and grease? Yes, very much so.Does it lather up well? It does.Do you feel clean after using it? You do indeed.Does it smell? OH, it PONGS - even with a ceiled tub to put it in in between uses, your place ( not jsut bathroom, but attached rooms to your bathroom ) will smell strongly of some kind of pot-pouri mixed with what i can only describe as..horse stables?? It's a nice strong smell when using it - but that lingering smell is really not what you want.
