My PUG is an absolute nightmare when it comes to his claws , these were brilliant , took the claw down neatly after a few minutes he was used to it and didn't fuss . Easy to use , would highly recommend

Amazing item! We have an old, stubborn pug who has been horrendous about getting his nails trimmed- he would always get so distressed and it was completely unmanageable. As he is less active his nails were getting long and curled and he wasn’t wearing them down like before. This was our last resort to try before sedation, which we wanted to avoid!I stood holding him with a good secure grip whilst another person carefully used the tool on each nail in turn. He was not only tolerant but at one point forgot that he was supposed to be unhappy and started wagging his tail. Absolutely unbelievable!Nails are all sorted, took 10 minutes and was so much better than I could have hoped! Best value for money ever! Thank you.Photo of happy pug straight after the nail trimming.

I have two pugs who absolutely hate getting their nails trimmed. In the past, I’ve used traditional clippers and unfortunately, I’ve cut too close more than once—causing bleeding, yelping, and a whole lot of guilt on my part. Needless to say, nail trimming had become a dreaded task for all of us.Enter this nail grinder. It’s honestly been a game-changer. While my pugs still aren’t throwing a party when it’s time for a trim, they’re so much more tolerant of this tool compared to clippers. The grinder is gentle, much less scary for them, and I feel way more in control. No more second-guessing if I’m about to cut too short—just smooth, safe filing.I can already tell that with a few more uses, they’ll be completely used to it. The noise isn’t too loud, it feels solid in the hand, and the results are great. If you’ve got dogs who are skittish about nail trims or if you’ve had a few nail-cutting mishaps like me, I can’t recommend this enough. Absolutely worth it!

% different speeds, low noise and the vibration not too bad. Not heavy and easy to use. So far I have used it two days as needed to get my dog used to it, only filing down the longest nails first. Second day we managed to do all nails with no issues from my very anxious dog. Hates his nails being cut along with being groomed. Hence why I do it all myself. This grinder is a god send so far. My dod did actually let us file his nails down whilst being held or should I say cuddled!!

This was a really good item initially. Worked really well on my rottweilers claws, until it ran out of charge, I charged it with the cable it came with and also tried an alternative one but the product itself wouldnt hold the charge rendering it useless, then because it exceeded the 30 day return there was no option to send it back or have it replaced, however after contacting Bolo themselves I have been issued with a refund on return of the product, so I would advice on checking that you can charge the product effectively before your 30 days are up. I may have just got a defective one which is sad as I stated it was really good apart from the charging issue.

I've bought quite a few nail grinders but this is by far the best. It takes half the time of others I've used. Very impressive and my 4 dogs don't mind it.

I bought this after getting fed up with how weak my previous nail trimming device was, and how long it took to trim my dogs nails. It was taking too long and they would start getting fed up with sitting still. Also you needed to keep changing the sand paper (if that is what you call it). This, I hoped was more powerful with a permanent grinding element. I was very pleased on first use. Even though the grinder didn't sound as fast it seems to have more torque so the machine doesn't slow down as much when grinding. It does a little, hence the 4 rather than 5 stars. And it is not the most comfortably fit in your hand. But it looks well built. Definitely looks like they wanted it to appear as a tool rather than going for comfort. I also like the fact it is not corded and the battery lasted long enough for me to trim the nails of 2 dogs in one sitting.

Es hermoso, a mis perras no les podía cortar con las pinzas porque se ponían muy nerviosas por la presión en su uñas pero nada que ver con el molinillo, se quedan hasta dormidas mientras se las lijo (igual yo las condicioné a agarrar les sus patitas desde que las adopté). De verdad que me estoy dando contra la pared por no haberlo comprado antes, me hubiera ahorrado mucho estrés.
quiet and works like a charm
Used it 3 times now. Works great on my huskies thick nails. She does NOT like getting her nails trimmed and did not give us any issues when we used this on her. She was actually "comfortable" with it.. Some training treats definitely help for a distraction, but it is not loud like a lot of the other nail trimmers and does not startle her. The light is also very helpful on it. Highly recommend.

Je lis pas mal de commentaires des gens qui dissent que leur chiens ne tolèrent pas de tout le son d'un coup, mais dans les instructions clairement c'est remarqué de les habituer avec des friandises avant, à l'odeur de la machine et au bruit avant avec ça, et certes, ça fonctionne parfaitement, mes chiens y sont habitués l'un dans quelques minutes avec cette méthode (elle est rapide pour ça) et l'autre en 2 jours. Je suis content avec le produit et la qualité de la machine, meilleure que le Dremmel pour chiens que j'avais aperçu dans autres endroits.
