The key does operate from both sides if on the inside you have to push the key in to engage. It has a good throw of the bolt and was ideal for my shed door.

Brought two of theses. Easy to install if you have the right tools. Which thankfully we did. But can see rust on the screws it's been two weeks. Sometimes the mechanism on the lock skips. But all in all a good lock.

This lock appeared very good initially, it is of solid construction and initially functioned very well.After around 4 months it began to show signs of rust, and after 6 months this has worsened to the point that I will need to replace it shortly. The bolt should be made of stainless steel, not the poor quality material used in this lock. Disappointing!!

Installed this a few weeks ago on my back garden gate, and I am impressed. The lock mechanism is smooth and the construction is solid. Good buy to keep my garden secure but accessible from outside when needed.

First lock stopped working after 1 week , was replaced with no issues, second lock is working but a little clunky , keys have to be pushed in just right or don't turn , it's for an old frail man so not ideal

Does it's job but time will tell as its very exposed for an outdoor lock.

Works as it should, but barrel is too short.
Operates at it should, time will tell if it's suited to outdoor use as the mechanism is quite exposed.Barrel length is not fit for 50mm door. My side gate measures in at exactly 50mm, and the barrel sits recessed.
