The strength is good at 7% and you can feel the difference after use.

These 25-packs of 5ml ampoules come in a simple cardboard box.The twist off top of the ampoules is really easy to twist off. If any difficulty, scissors are always an option though.There's no information on the box or in the product description about the recyclability of the plastic ampoules.Having been suffering from persistent congestion, I tried an ampoule using an excellent Handheld Nebuliser (ASIN: B0CT8K92YH). The Nebuliser did its job well and I did experience some loosening of the lungs, resulting in easier expulsion of mucus.Previously, I had some other brand saline ampoules which claimed to be Hypertonic but were actually not (they were Isotonic - same salinity as human cells). This product's description states that these ampoules are 'Hypertonic'. That means that they are supposed to be *more* salty than normal human cells. The simplest of Googles leads you to the fact that normal Human cell salinity is 9 - i.e. 9g of salt within 1000g of fluid, otherwise referred to as 0.9%/Isotonic. These ampoules claim to be 7% - there's no way to verify that, short of labwork, but they sure taste salty. So, assuming they are 7%, calling them Hypertonic is accurate.Why should you care? - well, if they *are* Hypertonic, the inhaled saline would draw fluid from the lung tissues to make it easier to clear the lungs, which would be a positive benefit. This 7% strength of saline is almost 8 times more salty than human cells, so will draw ~7 x 5ml/tsp of water (per 5ml saline) from the lung tissues to help loosen up the mucus and make it easier to clear the congestion. I've used this brand before at a higher strength and they are good.Vials are easy to twist off the cap and pour into the nebulizer. They produce a nice fine mist and help bring me relief. I use my nebuliser often and depending on how I'm feeling, choose my strength.This box contained 25 at 0.7%.Great product. Would recommend.

I decided to get my Dad to try out these saline solution bullets. He uses a nebuliser most days just to help reduce congestion and to clear his airways of mucus.They work well and start to give relief pretty quickly after a few deep breaths. They are a bit larger (contain more) than his usual brand, but all that means is that it takes a bit longer to get through a bullet. The advantage being he felt that he only needed one of these a day, instead of his usual two. The top's of the bullets are very easy to twist off, which is ideal for an elderly person or someone with reduced dexterity. I personally wouldn't recommend using scissors like a few other reviewers have mentioned - out of fear of cross contamination.I would like the cost to come down (even slightly), but to be fair you are getting a 7% Hypertonic solution, and the price is comparable to other products that offer that "strength." Otherwise, I would say these are really worth trying for pretty much anything respiratory related.

This comes in little plastic capsules that allow easy storage and transport. The solution is as good as you'd expect and works well in my nebuliser. The individual capsules split away from each other reasonably easily. The tops twist off and they empty cleanly without any issues. This is an expensive way of buying it and I can find no information on recycling the empty plastic capsules. I use a nebuliser for sinus infections. I would keep these for use when out and about with my little portable nebuliser, as this is a good way for me to have sterile solution on hand when needed without any preparation.

The tops of the capsules twist off easily, and they each provide a good amount of solution for nebulisers and so on. These have been great for managing long-term issues with my nose.

They come in individual bullets with twist off caps. Dump the contents into the nebuliser bowl, switch on and you're away.They're as effective as any other I have tried, even those supplied by the NHS. Used for an elderly relative and they clear her lungs quite well, but as with any of these they do promote the agitation of fluid in the lungs and post-use invoke some heavy coughing ... which is entirely the point of them, that's how these things work.Easy to use and fairly cost effective.
