I wanted to buy a simple microwave oven as I never seem to use all the additional features on the more expensive ones.After much searching, I decided on this Russell Hobbs one as it is a leading brand and its very attractive and modern looking with a large interior and is a high power 800w so it heats up food quickly. It just had two knobs - one for the temperature and one for an the time ...I use the defrost setting and full power most of the time and simply turn the bottom knob for the amount of time needed.I particularly like the inside having a lovely grey colour which I think will not get rusty. It's nice and large and is big enough to fit my 9 3/4" plates... I don't think much bigger than that would fit . It does get a bit steamy so I always wipe it down after use with kitchen roll to dry it. It's really easy to wipe down to keep it clean.There are a couple of downsides which I found which are that the door is quite stiff to open and it is a little but noisy...I can live with that! All in all, I am very pleased with this lovely looking and easy to use microwave which is good value for money.

We don't cook ready meals, but being able to defrost things quickly can be useful. It's good for heating up left-overs. It's good for heating up a wheat-bag too!Overall, this is a faultless product which suits our modern kitchen - it looks great and is easy to operate.

Needed a new microwave as our last one packed up. We had a 900w before and went for this 800w. Really can’t tell the difference apart from an extra 30 seconds normally. Nice and compact. We have large plates and they just fit in snug. Buttons are well made and easy to use. Nice colour too. Good value for money
