My wife is happy with the results she gets from this brush but we both fail to see why it is priced as it is. I can't in all honesty give a five star review to something which is no better than similar products costing half as much, and I'm not sure why anyone else would either.

This is a very good brush - with a very confused online listing. It variously states it's made from animal hair, synethetic - and wool! There's no clue on the packaging which is a slim clear plastic wallet. In my opinion it's animal hair.The reason I suspect it's animal hair is not only the price. Animal hair in my experience tends to take up product better. I used this Small Flame Shape Tapered Blending Brush with eyeshadow. It made for quick and easy precision blending and is a decent length at 193mm. I find long handled brushes like this much easier to control than shorter versions when applying make-up.If graduated blending has always been something you've not quite been able to achieve, try this brush. It will let you achieve a blended look that could be subtle or dramatic dependent on the tones used. I prefer to get make up brushes singly as I've lost count of the number of sets I've had where I've only used 2 or 3. And if you buy a quality brush like this, it's likely to last longer.
