This is a very nice looking and useful addition to my sewing room but would equally be at home in a kitchen or anywhere you need to see/read hands free. I use mine for either a book of instructions or my iPad whilst sewing I can see any picture or instructions in front of me at the correct angle and position I want and still have my hands free to work. I’m sure it would be just as useful for holding a recipe book whilst cooking, and being easy to wipe clean that would prove handy as well. I’m very pleased with my purchase and would recommend

I was worried that it might not be able to hold the weight of my book because it is quite thick and heavy, but it works perfectly and does just what I needed it to do. I’m glad I went for this one over the expensive ones as this one works just fine, and even better for the price.

I am having to buy another one of these as it puts a lot of strain on the pages or larger books. They sit awkwardly in it if they're light as it's rather small and the metal bar isn't very wide. I'm buying another and the I can put one on each side of my book to save damaging it. Unfortunately in the few days since I bought one it's increased in price. Nice colour though and metal bits seem solid. Just if I hadn't bought one already and need it now I'd spend the money on a better designed book holder.
