However I have been very surprised at the end result.It is a bit temperamental to set up, to get the settings how you want them and get them working with the car properly can be a bit tricky. However once set up, it works flawlessly and looks like a genuine screen.The first drive was frustrating as it froze, however every drive since then (everyday for 10 days or so) it has been working perfectly.The touchscreen is not laggy at all, it is clear and concise to operate and is quick to switch between original display and new display.One caveat to this review: I have only used it for these 10 days, it remains to be seen if the quality can remain top level for a long time :)

I ordered a car stereo with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto support for a BMW 3-4 series to replace the original screen, and the installation was done professionally without any questions. The screen fits in place of the stock display exactly to size and did not require any modifications. The frame is made of durable plastic, the color is in harmony with the interior trim, and looks high-quality. The screen resolution is high, the image is clear and bright even in sunlight. The sensor responds instantly to touch, which makes it easy to navigate and control music on the move. Automatic brightness control eliminates glare during the day and does not blind at night, creating a comfortable field of vision. I can open maps, listen to music and take calls directly from the main screen wirelessly, and it works reliably. The MirrorLink function allows you to duplicate the screen of my phone for easier access to applications. At the same time, the factory multimedia system remains active, so I did not lose the usual functions. The cost of the device corresponds to the quality, and I think the price-quality ratio is very favorable. I use GPS regularly and navigation starts quickly and without freezing. Trips are more comfortable and media control is more efficient. I am happy with the upgrade and can recommend this stereo system to all BMW 3-4 series owners.

Spent £260 for this and it doesn’t even work. The main I drive tends to freeze most of the time, when you are having a phone it almost impossible to communicate with the person… these are some issues there are many more like this. Highly recommend to do purchase it
