It is very large and actually seems bigger than 7.5 quarts. It is a really good looking big-ol-pot!I got it for a great price over the Memorial Day holiday.It is a cast iron pot so I cant imagine what could go wrong but if there are any issues I will update. So far I am impressed. I'll make some 'over the top chili' with it in my smoker over the weekend. If you haven't tried that recipe, look it up. It is worth the effort if you like chili. This big-ol-pot will be perfect for it.
Beautiful and Very Useful Dutch Oven!
Love that this dutch oven comes in black (called "licorice" in the color options) and that it was also available in the 7.5 quart size. Pretty enough that I store on my stove top. I have a 5.5 qt. Le Creuset dutch oven that I love as well, but didn't want to pay several hundred dollars for the larger size. This pot seems to be very high quality. I don't know that it will last as long as the Le Creuset (which I've had for about 12 years). But, for $69, this Best Choice pot will be much more affordable if or when it needs to be replaced, years down the road. I have used it to make large batches of stew, chili, hot chocolate, pasta, etc. with great results. Have also used it, cover and all, to bake bread in a 425° oven, with the bread turning out perfectly and the pot withstanding the prolonged high temp with no problems. Very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend.
Perfect for artisan bread!
Been wanting a Dutch oven for a while and got this for Christmas. I’ve used it several times for an artisan bread recipe and I absolutely love it! Just like fresh bread I got in European bakeries after long nights partying in the Alps. Will try some braised beef recipes next. Good quality and retains heat due to being cast iron. Good top with metal knob and the handles are solid metal, too. Goes right in the oven if you need it or can be used on the stove top for soups, braising, etc. Highly recommended!

I never take the time to write reviews but felt I had to here… this company is amazing! I used my dutch oven once, and while I was washing it, it slipped out of my hands and crashed down on the corner of our granite countertop. Needless to say it chipped. I was so bummed out because I got it as a Christmas gift from my daughter. I emailed customer service just to see if it was ok to still use (the chip was on the exterior, interior of oven was still perfect). I came home from work yesterday and a brand new dutch oven was sitting on my front porch! I have never had a company take that kind of effort, especially when the chip was my fault! THANK YOU BCP! You made my entire month!
