The DMP-BD84EB is the most compact and lightweight Panasonic Blu-ray player to date weighing in at only 0.8 kilos with a width of 245mm. Although small in size the player is still crammed with excellent features and will provide a stunning picture quality to your Blu-ray disc collection.
The BD84EB will allow direct access to your stored content when connected to your HDD external storage device, without the need for connection to a PC, Accessible content can include, video, music and photo images. (HDD must be below 2TB and files must be in NTFS and FAT 32 formats.
Access to smart features such as Twitter, Youtube and Facebook are possible when connected to your home network via an ethernet cable, the embedded web browser will allow access to the internet. The remote control also has a dedicated button for swift access to Netflix.

I had a multi-region player but it was only chipped for dvds and not Blu-ray so needed a fully multi-regional player for my different region Blu-ray discs and this is perfect. I like Panasonic stuff as I'm familiar with the remote set up and have never been disappointed with the products and this is no exception. But, wow, is it tiny! When I look at my old original dvd players - which are still working fine - then compare it to this, the difference in size is astounding. Mind you, I'm not complaining as it looks so much neater on the cabinet, not so cluttered. Activating the different regions is simple and the method is on a neat sticker on the top of the machine in case I forget. I shall leave it there as it's not distracting. I'm very happy with this and shall buy another if I need one in another room.

Bought this from TPS to use with my imported Bluray/DVD collection. Haven't had the opportunity to play any of my Region A Blurays on it (still awaiting delivery of some!) but it plays all of my Region 1 DVDs absolutely flawlessly. Love how easy it is to change Bluray region via the remote (DVD region selection is automatic, yay!)Really surprised at how small this player is too. Many thanks to TPS for getting this out to me so quickly, and I'll update once I receive my Region A blurays.**UPDATED** Works perfectly with Region A & B Blurays, and the switching of regions is easy and hassle-free. TPS is absolutely recommended without hesitation if you are looking for a multiregion Bluray/DVD player.

A very good Blu Ray player which allows Multi region DVD 's to be played, all you need to do is press the Region number on the remote before closing the disc drawer to switch the region. I can now watch the US NTSC box sets I have after my old Multi Region ( another make ) gave up.

I couldn’t be more pleased with this. It works as advertised, easy to set up and operate, and with easy to understand instructions. And just in case you need more detailed guidance, it gives the website address for further information on setup, specifications etc. Three year warranty, so I hope it lasts a good number of years. No hdmi lead provided.
