Didn’t work. Turned on and beeped for a second as soon as the batteries went in, then all the digits disappeared and stayed off. Tried with different new batteries but still nothing. All the metal bits seemed in order inside the battery case (the springs and the flat bits at the other end). Unfortunately having to return it. Shame as it looks quite good.
