Very Useful Panels

My problem is I use a lot of laser cutters and engravers and 3D printers in my home. My wife complains about the noise of all the machines with the moving parts and so on. So I made acrylic boxes for them but it didn’t block the sound that much. So next stop was sound proofing inside. Finally I have found what works. I no longer get that angry look from her when I turn on my equipment.Not only do these panels look good, they work good. They are easy to cut down to different sizes with a simple box cutter. The adhesive works very well on acrylic to the point where I will definitely have to use a heat gun should I want to remove it. I don’t think it would be good enough for a textured wall though. The thing I like about them the most is they don’t really attract the dust in my home so they are still looking good.The only negative thing I would have to say about these panels is you only get 6 of them so if you want to do an entire room you will need a whole lot more which can get expensive. I must say though for the price you get great looking tiles that really do put an end to a lot of the sound. For me, should I need more I will definitely be getting them from here.
Good quality product but pricey
Overall the panels are good quality and look pretty nice. I used these in my daughter's bedroom where she spends time gaming. She tends to get quite loud and excited and I wanted to dampen the sound. I put up some panels on the wall where her desk is and a few on the door. They did help somewhat to absorb some of the noise. I feel I would need more panels to really help. I find the cost for the 6 panels is pricey let alone getting more.
OK, seem to work
Have them on the basement stairs to block the furnce/ac/ washer dryer from channeling all the way up the staircase to the bedrooms. So far, seem better than previous nights with washer/dryer/dishwasher running. I took off a star because they seem kinda pricey at $89
Effectively reduces sound
I tried these panels where my TV and sound systems are in my living room against an adjacent room. It does not entirely block noise but significantly reduces it. If you have a roommate who loves late-night binging, these will help you sleep without loud cacophonies in the background. On another note, they are aesthetically pleasing and can adapt to most themes.
Noise absorbing, beautiful, easy to install
These rectangular panels come with a full adhesive on back. The edges have a chamfer cut which is a nice touch. Since I put these on my living room wall, I chose adhesive Velcro instead of the full adhesive background. Makes it easier to remove to paint the wall or relocate to a different area down the road.
