5.0 out of 5 stars Faultless, but bought last year

    t.s. · 6 August 2025

[Edit] Note; I bought this keyboard in 2024. Seems since then quality has nosedived... Such a shame [/edit]Fantastic keyboard. Battery lasts weeks/months and charges enough to use in minutes. Small, but not too small to use (and I have big, bass playing hands). Trackpad works well. Light but durable, quality metal casing.Has traveled around India with me in and out of bags, so definitely reliable.Would buy another in a heartbeat if something happened to it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for traveling with a PC

    P.M. · 5 December 2024

I've had it for a couple of weeks, and no problems whatsoever. Battery is fine. Bluetooth is good, and works with my Android phone without difficulty. Not a high end gamers' keyboard, but perfectly acceptable for editing documents and so on.It's a little smaller than a regular keyboard, and the keys are low profile. So not a high end gamers' keyboard, but perfectly adequate for office applications and so on.It slips easily into a rucksack. It's a little heavier than it looks, which I'm hoping is the weight of the batteries.I bought this for travel. I intend to use it via Bluetooth for my phone / tablet when I'm on the move; and via the USB dongle for my mini-PC when I arrive and settle in. I think that's exactly the kind of scenario this was intended for.Watch out for the FN+Space combination that deactivates the trackpad.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not working very well at all

    P.A. · 26 June 2025

I bought this to replace my older Rii keyboard on my TV mini-pc media centre.  The battery on the old one is not lasting very long anymore so I thought a new version would be better.  Unfortunately, this new one is pretty useless.  The 2.4GHz receiver has a range of 1m or less, which is very poor.  The old one worked from anywhere in the living room.  The Bluetooth on this one doesn't work at all.  PC detects, but will not pair.  Overall, this is simply not a workable keyboard unless you're using on a computer that you are literally right beside.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great to use on multiple systems

    j.c. · 24 February 2025

Needed a new couch or bed keyboard for watching my computer on a bigger screen for media consumption. I've ended up using it as a really nice general keyboard. I paired it with my desktop using Bluetooth which was really easy to do and is surprisingly stable. The dongle went into my laptop and between the 2 it's like having a keyboard switch without the hassle. A quick key combo switches between the 2 machines seemlessly .The keyboard itself is surprisingly solid. Full metal case or at least that's how it feels. Cold to touch and really rigid. I've had no issues with battery life and even waking from sleep is far faster than my Logitech unit. The keys are really satisfying to type on. No spongyness at all and very accurate. It would be perfect if it was backlit. The only issue I have is the volume controls. These are touch sensitive parts of the trackpad and almost impossible to use in the dark as there is no way to feel them out. This isn't a deal breaker. Especially at the price. All in all and almost perfect keyboard. A few tweaks to a new version and I would buy it. I think it will last for years to come

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed, functional, fit for purpose and not expensive!

    D.B. · 25 February 2025

Just received it yesterday but so far its excellent. the dongle connects straight away. It looks a good replacement for my laptop keyboard whos mouse pad has died. It has all the functionality you'd expect. The battery had charge so it works straight away. The only criticism I have seems that if you are too quick in typing double letters it sometimes only recognises the one but generally its fine and it may just be the sensitivity of the keys and not pressing down hard enough on the second strike. Overall its fantastic value for money, its a good size so its big enough to use comfortably but small enough to place into a laptop bag and travel with.

3.0 out of 5 stars Mushy keys, laggy trackpad

    w. · 10 September 2024

Unfortunately the keys are quite mushy/squishy, and it doesn't feel great to type on. The problem is the corners of each key can be pressed down and the rest of the keycap will tilt instead of following the downwards movement. It's not unusable, but it's not a good experience if you do a lot of typing, and it's worse than almost all laptop keyboards I've used. Also the trackpad is quite laggy. Whenever you simultaneously put your finger down and move, there is a small but noticeable delay before the cursor starts moving. This lag doesn't happen if you keep your finger held down while moving (instead of lifting it every time), so I guess the lag is the trackpad figuring out whether you're doing a tap click or trying to move the cursor. Either way, it's not unusable but it makes it a bit hard to point accurately. On the plus side, the inclusion of physical left/right click buttons is great - they're nice to press and responsive.Aside from this, the rest basically does what I want. Having a USB dongle in addition to bluetooth means I can use it during boot time to configure BIOS settings, which isn't possible with bluetooth. USB C charging is great since it's compatible with all my other USB C devices, and battery life seems fine (I haven't needed to charge it yet). Overall I'd say it's ok if you use it infrequently, but I wouldn't want to use it every day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Small wireless keyboard

    W. · 5 August 2025

Small keyboard, perfect for a media centre, I didn’t experience any drop outs on the Bluetooth

Great keyboard ruined by bad wireless connectivity

    A. · 20 July 2025

I'd give this between 2 and 3 stars. The keyboard looks and feels great. It's very sturdy feeling and has full-size keys which made it much better to type on than other options like the K400 or Rapoo E900T which are much smaller. But, like others here, I can't get the thing to work properly at anything more than a few feet away from my Mac. I wanted to use this for couch and bed TV use and as soon as I got comfortable the connection would start to fail. The pointer had an unusable amount of delay, along with the scrolling. Which is such a shame because the keys are great, the trackpad is smooth and responsive (within functional range of 3-5ft), and feels premium while not being expensive. I got both white and black - both did not connect to my computers at all using the 2.4ghz dongle.I assume that if you don't have a lot of RF already around you, this could work beautifully. But, like other reviews state, it becomes useless when the bluetooth connection starts to fail. For now, I'm sticking with the Rapoo E900T. It's got a smaller keyboard with smaller keys, the track pad isn't as smooth or responsive, and is made of aluminum rather than steel. However, it stays connected even at distances of about 25 feet (the furthest I can go with it in my living room while still having line of sight to my TV). It also has 3 separate bluetooth profiles which you can seamlessly switch from for three devices. It's still not the best experience, but I'd give the Rapoo a solid 3.5 just because it functions as advertised.

I was incredibly surprised with how happy I have been with this keyboard. I use it every day at college and while the trackpad is incredibly sensitive, the usability I get from being able to detach my keyboard from my laptop is Paramount. Keyboard feels completely solid and I’m banging around in my laptop bag, it keeps going the battery Life is amazing.

Not as good as the Logitech K400+

    J. · 9 April 2025

Feels well made, very heavy and sturdy with little flex, but the signal quality isn't very good on either the bluetooth nor the included dongle. Anything less than perfect line of sight leads to lag, choppiness and repeated letters. I had hoped it would be an upgrade to my old Logitech K400+, but the touchpad isn't any better and the connection is worse. It it significantly more compact though, and I like that it's rechargeableAlso note that while the while it multi touch, so two finger click or two finger scroll works fine, it doesn't show as a full trackpad, so no trackpad gestures work (this is true of almost every other wireless keyboard though).Probably going to return it and keep using the K400+.

    Almost perfect

    M. · 2 February 2025

Very nice keyboard, but a few minor flaws keep it from being a slam dunk for me.It has a USB-C port for charging, but it cannot operate in wired mode. Not a huge loss, as this keyboard really is intended for couch use, but it seems like it would be an easy thing to offer in addition to 2.4G wireless and Bluetooth. The trackpad, by default, is very fast. Granted, laptops' default sensitivity is adjusted to match the screen size so obviously a keyboard isn't going to know. That said, it would have been nice to have shortcuts to change the sensitivity on the keyboard level instead your OS level. There is no Function Key lock. The pictures of this item on the listing clearly show a Function Key lock, Fn+Esc. But on the version I was shipped in Jan 2025, no such label appears and no such feature exists. Also, the Function Keys themselves are the primary label on those keys which the Fn operations are secondary. I prefer it this way, but you have been warned. There is a spot to tuck in the 2.4G receiver, but it's pretty loose and seems to be held just barely in place with a magnet. I wouldn't trust it to not shake out if you travel with this, so maybe travel with this keyboard in the original box to keep it from disappearing.I wish this came in an illuminated version. This item came up in my search for an illuminated keyboard which it isn't, so it would be nice if the seller didn't mess with the SEO terms.--With the criticisms out of the way, let's focus on what it does right. For the price, it's a very comfortable keyboard. For a couch keyboard, it's quite light and rigid. Used on a surface, the 1.6cm "bump bar" applies a nice angle for use. All the keys and multimedia functions work as you'd expect them to (tested on Linux Mint). The scissor switches feel pretty nice. I personally like full-on mechanical keyboards best, but for the purpose (lightweight wireless I can use with the big-screen), this feels nicer than mushy membranes.Lightweight!Real physical buttons for click and right click should not be ignored. If you ever need to hold down a mouse button for, say, panning, you quickly realize that most keyboards with soft-keys simply don't cut it.--Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the keyboard and is a deal for sure.

I'm writing this review using the very same keyboard.

    C.S. · 1 May 2025

Purchased to use on the living room PC...Pros:* Mostly metal chassis; feels very solid and has a nice heft to it.* No problems pairing it to Bluetooth right out of the box.* Setup was pretty intuitive and didn't need special instructions.* Considering it's a compact keyboard, I found it mostly comfortable.Cons:* Keys have a weird "clacky" feel to them; not obnoxious but a bit noisier than I'd prefer.* Touchpad acceleration was way too fast, had to turn it down to about 75% to get it to feel more "normal".* The audio buttons have a weird lag to them, and sometimes it got confused with a touchpad click. Would have probably been better if they were their own buttons.* The WiFi dongle doesn't stay firmly in it's holder, so it's possible to loose it.* Conversely, the dongle is extremely tight in in a USB port (to the point where I was concerned I was going to break something trying to plug it in.While it has some drawbacks, it's also got some good points and isn't bad overall (especially for the price). I would still recommend it.
