I have used it on multiple cars from many different manufacturers. The device recommends and app, this then gives you a very comprehensive list of car manufacturers. From there you can navigate the menus with ease on your smart phone. I does ask to identify the vehicle by reading its vin number, some times this does not work due to the individual car manufacturer selection not being upto date. This is easily done by selecting an update on the app. It also seems to work better if you switch on your location. The faults it can read seem to be limitless. you do have the option to clear these faults and also look up the fault code through the app.On a whole I have found this Bluetooth obd reader to be fantastic. Certainly saves you the cost of a garage read and the fact that it can constantly be updated is great. I'm on my second year with it and have had no additional cost.

Got my BMW wheel alignment done and they made a mess of it. I had 3 fault lights relating to traction control, cruise control and the DSC system none of them were working. I used my old OBDII fault code reader and it didn’t read any fault codes from the ECU.I received the Topdon diagnostics dongle today, downloaded the app, registered for an account downloaded the BMW diagnostics software ran a scan and it picked up all the fault codes. Reset them all restarted my car and all lights were off and my car is back to normal again. Went for a test drive and the lights haven’t come back and hopefully won’t. Have the car booked in for the annual inspection and this little tool did exactly what I needed. It’s very easy to use and has lots of features and functions that will really help me in the future. What a steal to buy this so cheap I would have had to pay €205 for BMW to run diagnostics on it so well worth the money and I’m very happy with the purchase.Highly recommend to any DIY enthusiasts who want to fix and diagnose problems yourself.

I purchased this for about half the price of my Carly adapter that does not support gen 1 mini ( you don't find out until you read the small print) the Topdon is a quality bit of kit with a metal and plastic case also beeps to say it's connected and has lights that flash to show its powerd up the app is awesome easy to use and cleared my codes restoring my cruise control and identifying a dead 02 sensor if I would have known I would have purchased this before I spent my money on the carly all in all a great bit of kit lots to do on the app and works on Gen 1 mini coopers 10/10 A******** you can't go wrong

It seems ok at first but the features are just not there or don't work, and on top of that after 1 year you have to pay £50 a year to have it work at all. IMO it is no more usefull that a normal cheep bluetooth ELM adaptor and the Torque app

Basic enough to find and read fault codes allowing you to reset them after maintenance. Not an in-depth model so not many bells and whistles. Easy to install and remove, works via iPhone app.

I was slightly skeptical at first for the price but I had an intermittent abs light on my 2003 mini cooper so I thought it's cheaper then bmw want just to plug it in so I figured I'll give it a go well I can honestly say I have been amazed by what this little thing not only did it tell my my abs is due to a wheel speed sensor it allowed me to view to live data to see exactly what was happening and when it also displayed stored fault codes I didn't even know it had for low battery voltages and also an airbag issue which upon seeing I realised was when I replaced my steering wheel for a "fancier unit" this shocked me as the car had the battery removed and was completely dead before this was done, it also allowed me to reset my service indicator which is amazing for someone who does there own maintainance, I then tested this on a mercedes a180 2014 and was happy to see it diagnosed everything On the car without issue and allowed me to determine a fault with the steering angle sensor that was triggering a number of other issues, I also tested it on a 2012 range rover evoque to find it once again performed flawlessly. Overall I highly recommend this device.

This is a very easy and intuitive tool, once you have downloaded the correct files for your vehicle. I have used it on Audi, Skoda, Seat and Land-rover vehicles so far with good results. The report which can be saved is very clear and the online search function is a very good addition compared to the standalone code reader tools.The only annoying thing from my side is that it was advertised as being compatible with motorcycles as well as cars, and as I have both, this is what sold it too me, but I couldnt find any motorcycles in the download list.I have contacted topdon and they tell me that that option has been removed but will soon be available to purchase!Overall a good tool but annoying that all features aren't included.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this to replace an old model OBD II scanner (the type that just gave you a code, which you'd then have to look up in the accompanying paper manual).I love that this has a screen and a variety of options -- no more paper manual! It's as easy to use as my old one -- just plug it in your OBD II port (usually under your steering wheel area), and it will boot up once you start the car. Navigation through menu screens takes a couple minutes to get the hang of via the four physical buttons on the device, but after a few minutes of playing around with it you'll have it down.Haven't had any issues with my car as of late, so cannot comment on how well it displays errors, but can tell you that it has a ton of options, many of which seem professional grade. If you're a budding amateur mechanic, this is a great tool for you! I am not that type of person, but am happy it does what I need it to do (and more).

Voor de aankoopprijs is het ongelofelijk hoeveel functionaliteit je krijgt. Ik heb al met verschillende duurdere diagnosetools gewerkt. Deze dongle gecombineerd met een gebruiksvriendelijke software moet hier amper voor onderdoen.Enige minpunt is het feit dat je na een jaar een abonnement van 65 euro per jaar moet nemen om alle functies te behouden. Toch geef ik 5 sterren omdat je voor die 65 euro misschien zelf de oorzaak kan vinden in plaats van iemand anders ervoor te betalen ...

Réellement surpris du produit.Habitué des cdp pro, autocom, vcds et autres, ça faisait longtemps que je lorgnais sur des produits du style.Ce qui m'a fait me décider c'est la licence de 1 an au logiciel Android. Car le prix vaut clairement le coup avec la licence. Elle s'applique directement en se scannant et se connectant au produit.Et le dongle est vraiment bien fini et semble d'excellente qualité.Le port USB type c m'a permis de l'alimenter pour le mettre à jour en bluetooth sans le connecter à la voiture.D'ailleurs la connexion bluetooth se fait très simplement via l'application et l'icône VCI.Je l'ai testé brièvement sur mon Touran tdi de 2010 sans souci. Les rubriques des calculateurs ressemblent fortement à vcds. Donc on s'y retrouve. On peut sans difficulté récupérer les groupes de mesures pour afficher pression et MAF. Bref c'est super.Attention le logiciel Android nécessite de la place sur le téléphone ou la tablette. Plusieurs Go si on ajoute plusieurs marques 3,2Go pour VW et 900Mo pour Mini (bmw).Mais c'est un régal. Je ferais un peu plus d'essais prochainement.Aucun regret pour l'instant sur VW.

La máquina funciona muy bien con varios modelos y marcas. La conexión inalámbrica es cómoda y el software es intuitivo. Me gusta que incluye un año de actualizaciones gratis. Ideal para quien quiere hacer un diagnóstico rápido sin complicaciones.
