How will this product help me to detect DKA?
These strips detect the number of ketones in your urine. This helps you to notice when spikes in ketone numbers could indicate DKA, meaning that you’ll need to seek urgent medical attention.
How to use the Ketone strips.
Hold the reagent area of the testing stick into a urine sample and compare the colour of the testing area to the colour samples on the side of the bottle to determine your results. Before using the test, avoid touching the reagent area of the test strip with your fingers or any other object.
What do my test results mean?
Your strips use a ratings system which helps you to easily see your ketone levels. The darker the colour of your test result, the higher the number of ketones in your body. These colours are assigned to a plus or minus rating, and if your result shows ++ or higher then there is a high chance that you could have DKA and should speak to your doctor right away.

I recently purchased the Ketone Test Strips (100 Strips) for accurate detection of ketones in urine, but my experience with this product has been quite disappointing.Firstly, the strips provided inconsistent and unreliable results. On multiple occasions, I tested the same urine sample twice in a row, only to receive different readings each time. This inconsistency undermines the accuracy and reliability of the product, making it difficult to trust the results.Additionally, the colour chart provided for interpreting the results was not clear enough, adding further confusion to the already unreliable readings. The lack of distinct colour differences made it challenging to determine the exact ketone levels.Overall, the Ketone Test Strips did not meet my expectations for accuracy and reliability. Their inconsistent results and unclear colour chart make them a poor choice for anyone needing precise ketone level monitoring. I would not recommend this product.
