I’ve read so many average reviews of Avatarr. I almost did not buy it. Thankfully I had a change of heart.There is nobody out there that will tell you that this game is not visually stunning, it truly is. Most of the negative reviews I’ve read stem from the depth of the game and the difficulty level.I do not understand the criticism, the hunting bow (an early weapon) and melee attack are one hit kills on most human enemies and a combination of stun grenade followed by heavy bow is sufficient to take out most of the tougher enemies with a few hits.Later in the addition of the spear and slingshot ensure that at no point do you feel you do not have the relevant arsenal. But if you really want an easy ride get a shot gun asap and save up 50 spare parts for high capacity mag with +18% RDA damage from the resistance HQ.The stealthy approach brings greater rewards when attacking RDA bases however you achieve the same rewards by killing everything and anything with the shotgun before they have the opportunity to call for reinforcements.It is true that the main story can be progressed quite quickly however don’t do that. Take your time to fully explore and complete side quests and gather the collectibles, that way you get experience the full game and it’s well worth the effort.I am approx 85% through the main story but if had hours of game play developing my character and completing side quests. I’m looking forward to the expansions to see what they bring but I’ve been told it’s best to complete the main game first.I read somewhere that crafting good gear adds very little benefit. That is simply not true, crafting equipment using only tue highest quality materials results in far better items than you are likely to find lying around or than can be purchased from merchants. Use the hunters guide to work out where to get the best quality materials from.All in all this game has lots to offer and is very impressive movie/franchise title, I hope the developers continue to add content.

Despite some negative reviews in the media, my daughter found this game entertaining, accessible, challenging at times and it looks great.Being based on the Avatar movies, it does capture the iconic scenery of the fictional worlds and its various flora and fauna.The level of difficulty rises gradually and there are lots of side quests to undertake along the way to the central goal of the game, these help to increase the weapon and health aspects of your character, so as well as adding to the overall play length of the game, are also beneficial.My daughter loves it and has played a lot over the last few weeks, so in terms of longevity, its reasonably good. Some people might consider themselves to be 'pro' standard and say its too easy, but for your average Joe its fine.Various levels of difficulty, from Easy to Difficult means that you could essentially play it over again with a bigger challenge.

Coming from the PS3 to this on ps5 was just incredible, the density of foliage, graphics, the different ways you can take down an enemy base, the food collection mechanic, the way the dual sense controller is used and you can take to the skies, awesome stuff

Visually stunning, felt very immersed within the world and story they created. Storyline was investing and had the right level of emotion. Only downside for me was the gameplay after a while does become repetitive.Bought for £25, without a doubt worth buying for that price, even if you just play it the once.

This game should have been a smash it but Massive Entertainment made some really bad design choices and shipped a lacklustre game.The game world is stunning yet the exploration can become tedious and frustrating at times.The combat could be better and the stealth needed a lot more work as it is basic and hardly works.Between this and Massives other disaster of the year (SW Outlaws) Ubisoft should have dissolved the department as they are a bumbling disaster of a development studio.Buy it if you love the films or are a fan of open world games using the usual Ubi formula of destroys bases, explore to unlock areas and collect a ton of items for trophies.

If you're a fan of the Avatar films you'll very likely enjoy this game.You can tell a lot of effort was put into crafting the environment and it has paid off. Pandora looks stunning and feels alive in the game.Some side quests and base raids can feel a bit tedious at times, but the main plot was engaging and integrated well with the plot of the film.It was worth the purchase just to experience flying around Pandora on an Ikran.
