This is raw tahini made of sesame seeds that have not been heated, this means that the seeds were not damaged by heat. I use tahini almost daily and this one is wonderfully smooth and runny. I use it for dressings instead of oil, add to smoothies or eat it on the spoon. It`s delicious.

Made from 100% ground sesame seeds, it’s the perfect ingredient for dips, sauces, and hummus. The purity of this product shines through – gluten-free, vegan, and with nothing added. The rich, creamy texture and authentic sesame flavor elevate my dishes to a whole new level. A kitchen essential for anyone who values quality and taste!As for my hummus recipe! Yum yum yum.Ingredients:• 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed• 1/3 cup Mellona Raw Tahini Paste• 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil• 1 clove garlic, minced• 1 teaspoon ground cumin• Juice of 1 lemon• Salt and pepper to taste• Water (as needed for desired consistency)Instructions:1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, Mellona Raw Tahini Paste, olive oil, garlic, cumin, and lemon juice.2. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.4. If the hummus is too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.5. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika. Enjoy with your favorite veggies or pita chips!

Really good product for baking. I use it for wfpbno biscuit recipes and it is runny enough to add moisture without too much stiffening. Tastes lovely.
