They should improve that area also the ink is not amazing and sometimes it’s requires multiple tries to get the correct amount of ink into one letter which is annoying!

Piece of junk. There’s nothing to tighten the ribbon, aside from the ribbon it came with was dry and I needed to spend more money buying a new ribbon. Let me repeat, this is a piece of junk. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

I have used most of tge fynction on this typer writer in my 2 days of owning i was looking for a cost effective method to a pc and printer i did alot of reasearch and this ribbon came pergectly inked have wrote 150 pages no signs of any major defects he quality it right weight has a fairly medium type very easy to use and for rice it was really affordable compared to Was looking hitting 300-400 pounds

This looks so good but unfortunately to use its not. Keys are sticky, to get any type you have to really whack the keys, paper does not roll up evenly, have to straighten by hand each new line. The tape keeps rucking. Certain letters won't return. Should have returned it as it's not cheap.

The machine arrived with dried ink and the ribbon was not able transfer it on paper. The experience was disappointing considering the market value of the item.

I like the black/ cream design which was caught my eye. I’m planning to write some short stories and poems and I want to get an authentic look for the manuscripts. Yes I know a laptop is easier but the manual typewriter makes you think harder about each word and sentence construction. For me, perfect.This arrived from chums is just one day after ordering and was well packaged- as pictured. It had. Various bits of plastic to protect the bar and other delicates in transit.All in all, very pleased with my purchase.

I liked the look and style of this typewriter and thought it a reasonable price. But when it arrived the ribbon it came with was dry, so I brought some new ones, and even with a new ribbon it wouldn't type, I certainly couldn't write a letter or novel on it, it would only type part letters or just dots of ink. I'm very disappointed and have requested a refund so I can buy a different one from elsewhere.
