I bought this to transfer an old VHS tape to my PC. Plugging the USB cable in, the device is automatically found and available for use (Windows 11).There is no CD as noted in some other reviews, but since Windows 7 and 8 are both out of official support from Microsoft, it makes sense that this product would no longer include it, as it's not needed for Windows 10+.Once the SCART lead is connected between the device and the VCR, and the SCART option is selected on the switch, both the video and audio are easy to add in OBS. You may need to watch some basic OBS tutorials if you've never used it before. I used 720 x 540 then scaled it appropriately to fill the box.

Working perfectly! Bought it to digitize my old school VHS tapes. For those struggling to use it on Windows 11, the Camera app that comes with Windows 11 will get the output from the device. It just acts like a normal web cam, it's just plug and play.

I would have preferred to ask this directly, but there is no software re key provided for the software that auto loads. Could one be provided please or i will be forced to request a return.

I was a bit dubious as people had mentioned issues with the software, however I used OBS and it worked perfectly. Installed it, followed the instructions to add the converter as an input device and then the video and sound started working instantly.The only thing I would say is that I have some prior experience recording with OBS (from a webcam), however if you need any help the software is well known and Google / forums should be able to help you.

I have seen some reviews where people say they are not really worth it. But for me? I have serious back issues & if I had a dollar for just how many systems I have set up for friends, family, work, etc... I have to admit just plugging in One All in one is wonderful. Having said that, I was not thinking about the convenience of having your USB ports, most of mine at least. And the ease of access having some on the front of my towers. This all in one only has them in the back. I did have a couple of USB hubs that allowed 3 to 5 more outlets, but this one has 7. And the cord length is great. I was afraid it would not quite reach as far out to the front but it does and then some. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it. It feels like very good quality and even has a little weight to it. Would have liked to have it in white to match everything else, but, silver matches close enough. Bottom line, I got lucky the first time in trying this and am glad I did. Now I can plug in the other items I need with ease and without having to get up and down to do so. With my health issues and mobility issues, anything that makes things easier on me is worth it. The price was fair and I cannot thank you enough.
4K Passthrough does not work
It’s a video capture card, but the HDMI 4K passthough does not work. A 4K HDR signal is not passed as it is.
Quality. Pure and simple.
Great product. Great price. I have this hooked up to my TV's usb media port and now I have 4 hard drives and a few thumb drives of media 6o choose from on my TV.

This is a great product for the price point. Using it stream my Xbox to TikTok live streams. Haven’t ran into any issue and have used it with multiple different live capture softwares. It has gotten pretty hot during a 5 hour stream but that did not affect the functionality. Small and compact so it is easy to have out of site on the desk.

works fine. there's about a 300ms latency for streaming which is totally acceptable for me.streamed on discord for about 3 hours, only the usb port is getting heated a little and capture card is not heated. generally pretty good device
