We ordered this case for our son's new portable CD player which is a Klim Journey. It does come with its own case both this offers better protection if one is heading outside. The case is made of a rigid hard shell which the Klim fits snugly inside of. Internal dimensions are approximately 14.4cm by 14.5cm. It has approximately 3.8cm internal depth although some of this may be taken up by anything occupying the zipped internal pocket which sits inside one of the halves. The case has quality zips, the runners are plastic but the pullers are metal. There is an adjustable wrist strap attached to the case by way of a metal carabiner. I have 2 other hard-shell cases made by RLSOCO and they are all the same, really well made. It’s important to have confidence in these cases as they are usually protecting expensive hardware. This case gives you that confidence.

Good quality case for carrying electronic equipment. Not so much a hard case bit certainly protective.
