Great low priced PoE home network switch. Today's consumer items increasingly offer the PoE (Power over Ethernet) option to provide power to peripheral devices, such as doorbells, CCTV camera's etc. This device is dead simple. Plug it in and connect your device to it using a network cable (RJ45 ends) Power is automatically provided to the device with no need for inconvenient wall warts. This model is quiet, as it is also 'fanless', and looks smart enough sitting next to my router.

I bought two of these and so far I'm fairly impressed. They feel solid. no different to others I've had before. Been running a mix of 1G and 2.5G clients on them. Most of the cabling is Cat 5e and I'm not seeing any transmission errors.Minor issues: The manual covers models including a managed switch, ignore anything about the management interface. I couldn't find any screws small enough to fit the mounting holes and had to 3D print brackets.

I ordered this to add to my home network. This has Great value for money. The box is small and lightweight. Even that the ethernet ports are strong and Great connections. Perfect for speed as its 2.5G. Perfect all round.

I'd almost forgotten I'd bought this switch because it's mostly tucked away out of sight helping to distribute 2.5gbe goodness ..silently!Build quality is pretty decent at this price. For what I paid for it you can usually expect something plastic, not an all metal unit like this.I paid £37.51 (with promotion applied) and for me its excellent value for money. Definitely recommended if you can get it at the same price (or less) than what I paid.
