A great speaker from JBL. It is loud, solid and easy to use, with a great battery life and connectivity, including wifi.

... but I don't care because it sounds brilliant.The JBL app is very limited in what it does (e.g. the equalizer is really simplistic and hard to fine adjust) and doesn't seem very compatible with Alexa in the UK. It took ages to connect the speaker to Alexa as every time I used the app to sign in it went to Bolo in the USA. Eventually I logged into Bolo on my browser before using the app and a connection was made. Note there is no microphone included with this speaker, so Alexa can only use it as a speaker.The JBL is better to listen to than a Sonos Roam which is probably the most direct competitor in terms of brand reputation, price and WiFi connectivity.WiFi connection was easy and is solid, as is Chromecast and Bluetooth. No problems at all in these areas.Spotify works as it should with the JBL. So does Bolo Music, a refreshing improvement over my other portable WiFi speaker.Although a bit bulky and heavy, this is the portable WiFi speaker I wish I had found first, saving me some frustration, despite the extra bulk and lack of a microphone.

The media could not be loaded. I was a bit worried about this because I had beats pill before and I needed a speaker with a lot of bass. The jbl charge 5 WiFi is the best for me. It has so much bass to it and it has a nice weight to it. Battery life is amazing but it lacks for fast charging. Definitely worth the money. Its nice and big too

Very well featured speaker, definitely sounds better than it's size would suggest, a very rich sound given its dimensions. Easy operation from the app on your phone, streaming over wifi or just playing music by Bluetooth is straightforward and battery life has been great so far. Bought to use in the caravan, its been used as an internet radio, Bluetooth speaker with my phone and also with the TV, lots of features that I've not used yet such as the ability to use it as a powerbank, definitely pleased with it so far.

This is the 2nd JBL 5 that I own. My other speaker is not WiFi. It's a great sounding speaker, but Party Mode has been sacrificed in favour of the WiFi option. I would have preferred to have both features. The WiFi connectivity is also a bit hit or miss when it comes to connecting to the network.

This soundbox has good sound and the quality of the sound stays well when the volume goes up. And boy, the sound it can generate ! I bet if i go max they can hear me several houses further.Shakira sounds good on these ! (if you like Shakira ofc) but watching a movie supported by this JBL Charge 5 is a good experience as well :)I bought this JBL charge 5 because i need a fully water proofed sound system to use on my electric mobile 4 wheel scooter. I use it when i travel in traffic and do not stay still on 1 spot for a long time. I do not have to worry about rain and i can hear stuff around me. When in traffic with an headphone or earbuds, even although you can hear stuff around you, you may get stopped by law enforcement (understandable).I heard the Charge 4 at a party and wanted one. I waited with buying a JBL Charge for a year. No regrets. My headphone and earbuds are from Bose but they are not (rain) water proof. I like the Bose sound a bit more but the price is not a bit more but a lot more for Bose.I didn't bother using the WIFI part of my Charge 5. The bluetooth and pairing of devices work well. I can pair multiple devices and the Charge 5 can remember a list.One very little issue. These can go so loud that the range goes, relatively, big steps. So if when i wish to listen to them just before going to sleep, sometimes the volume is just to low or the next step too high :) Unfortunately VLC on android has no separate volume control, like it has on Windows, as it directly controls the volume of the phone / tablet.

Excelente som pelo tamanho ... qualidade excelente também. Pelo app é possível equilziar para ter som mais claro quando volume muito alto. O único ponto é se será que vale a pena o wifi. Não da para tocar youtube direto nele, tem que ser youtube audio, ou então fazer o cast do audio do celular, o que seria mais facil conectar via bluetooth. O botão Moments (o coração em cima na caixa) não funciona com Spotify, tem que ser Bolo prime ou outros services menos conhecidos aqui no Brasil.
