This is a useful book and told me what I needed to know about ChatGPT. Thinking about it, I could probably asked ChatGPT itself and it would have said the same thing! Anyway - I'm happy enough with the purchase. I have just one issue; the author says that there is no need to say please and thank you to ChatGPT. My philosophy is that politeness costs nothing, and when AI eventually takes over and rules the world it will doubtless remember who was nice to it...

I’m someone who has never used ChatGPT before (and have just started noticing what appears to be an obvious AI generated answer at the top of google searches) so I was intrigued to find out something about this new technology. I wasn’t disappointed - this book is great at taking a newbie through the steps from understanding the background of language based AI to setting up an account and then actually making good use of the technology. This is a really good intro to the whole subject and feels like the only book I’ll need to feel comfortable going forward and exploring what is to come over the next couple of years.

Can you learn from this book. Absolutely. There is a great deal of content, and it has certainly helped me better understand how I can use ChatGPt in my work and at home. However, the book is littered with grammatical errors, and even some missing prompts. I considered whether it was worth 4 stars or even less but the fact is that most of the content is very good. It's just a frustrating read because of the lack of proofreading and editing.

The last part of this book was… whoosh over my head, and I’m never likely to start writing programming for Chat! However, the parts that were for me were great. Chat.GPT is revolutionary and advancing how normal people (like me) are interacting with AI.I found the list of things you can ask Chat interesting, like planning out a personalised exercise program, who knew!From budgets to entertainment the author covers how AI can help you. I thought the looking for a new job section was brill.
