Just carefully prise off the old B&W ear pads and click the new ones into position. Initial quality looks the same as B&W originals and dimensions of the aperture, thickness and pad locating pins are all as standard. Comfort is the same and they have no impact on sound quality and noise cancellation performance. Minimal packaging and no instructions/media but not really required. See how they wear over time but the original B&W pads only lasted 2 years before splitting so hopefully they can match that.

If you have the Px7 headphones then you will know that some parts of the design are really cheaped out, like how the ear pads are two different fabrics glued together over foam using an adhesive that wil inevitably fail. Where the B&W originals are glued these are stitched. Comfortable in use, fit perfectly and a good visual match. The leatherette 'grain' is slightly heavier than the originals but not in a way that anyone would ever notice or care about.

These fit fine. They look good. The stitching looks like it will last longer than the originals. But ever since I installed these, the noise cancelling has been terrible. I'm hearing so much outside noise. Even wrose, for the first time, my headphones are tinning-out and leaking noise to people around me. Either get an original replacement or just bite the bullet and replace the whole unit.

Für mich vom Original kaum zu unterscheiden.
Die Verbindung von Kunstleder und Stoff ist aber offenbar genäht, nicht geklebt, was hoffentlich zu längerer Haltbarkeit führt.
